Some lowbrow whites might believe it was done for their benefit, but it had always been just for profits of the ruling class, which never cared about common soldiers, their nationality or religion. Today the same elites invite foreigners to their countries for cheap labour to profit from and whites cannot wrap their head around the idea that this doesn’t' constitute elites betraying them - they simply were never on their side. Back then they were useful as pawns to colonize more land and people to profit from, so that is who they used. Now it’s practical to invite the colonized to their countries, so they do not need whites to do the military job anymore.
