Because no one's religious. No one goes to church anymore. Do you know anyone who goes to church? I didn't think so. My parents don't go to church. We don't talk about religion. We don't think about religion. It just isn't part of our lives anymore. Except for at funerals and weddings, but weddings even less so nowadays. Most people do away with the religious ceremony. Instead of a priest most people just have some 'marriage celebrant' in a suit. Christianity is done in the west.
