By the time we realizes that we were actually in this shit for real, we had already lost because it would take us months to get actually prepared to do anything in the middle east on a scale big enough to make a difference, and we didn't have that time to work with because they were already bombing military bases, regional infrastructure, and Israel. In the time it took us to mobilize, which we still haven't really done yet, we already lost everything we needed to make such mobilization possible. We lost 13 military bases, we don't have anywhere to deploy from anymore. Its fucked. We handed Iran an undisputed win against the supposed global superpower, exposing us as idiots and frauds who can't protect our own shit, much less anyone elses, and in the process directly shit where we eat from and poisoned the very economy (the petrodollar) that our global supremacy depends on. In the span of a single month, Trump destroyed america on a level that at the start of 2026 would have been unthinkable. We are going to spend the rest of the 21st century losing what remains of our global influence, while in deep denial about it. We'll probably be drawn against our will into a conflict with China now because its clear that we both know that if that happens they will easily beat us. Even if it never happens, the threat of that certain outcome will influence all of our international efforts and force us into further submission.
