>A group of private equity firms have agreed to acquire the AES Corp. for $33.4 billion. That includes its utility companies AES Ohio and AES Indiana.

>This comes at a time when data center proposals are cropping up across the Miami Valley, including AES Ohio’s utility territory, increasing the need for power reliability to meet intensifying energy demands.

>BlackRock-owned Global Infrastructure Partners and Swedish firm EQT will make up the largest shareholders. Together with co-underwriters California Public Employees’ Retirement System and Qatar Investment Authority, AES refers to them as “the consortium.”

tl;dr Blackrock is gonna skyrocket electric and water bills to build data centers that also drain water supply lines

>>532245612
Do we know the locations of these data centers?
These people are going to first astronomically raise energy prices in these areas to pay for their fucking data centers and then they have the right to shut the power off to people in order to power their data centers if you get too antisemitic.

They do you retard. Economists know that a completely free market tends toward monopolies, that's why we have government regulation. Read a book.

Entities that get hit by Gulf war and/or high energy prices parking the money. Capital flees Gulf and Europe to the only place which Trump will certainly not bomb next, Blackrock assimilates it and uses it to fuck common Americans even harder.

lol maybe I should invest in fan manufactures since most Amerimutts won't be able to afford running their AC this summer.

I thought we were worried about Climate Change.
Why are the ruling class building so many data centre's if they really care about Climate Change?

Same reason why they travel in personal jets

AES is heavily regulated. Data centers are going to get major pushback, people already hate them and it's not a party line split. Conservatives don't want data centers either.
>>
>>532251482
Control. The ultimate aim is to control humanity, preferably depopulating a lot of places when war is fully automated. The "Butterian Jihad" from Dune is mostly likely what will eventually happen if people, somehow, acquire class consciousness and this won't happen in the US. So there will be a world coalition against the US and Israel, eventually.
>>
>>532251482
My family are public sector economists. Everyone dropped Climate change like its radioactive once Biden lost and moved to data centers. Thats the only thing they work on now. Data centers. Fucking bleak

No it doesn't you retard. Monopolies grow as governments scale up regulation. They are brought about by political lobbying to make small and new competitors not viable and then given huge bailouts to continue existing when they fail.
It's why we used to have a fuckton more businesses everywhere in every sector even just a couple decades ago but now they're all going away with late stage democracy, corruption, and because of fake monopoly fiat money, planned markets.
Everything is now extensively taxed and regulated and now look at what's happening. The exact thing you argue won't happen.
