Check out these wierd screw heads on this Artemis equipment.
The moon landings were fake.

I've seen the same type of safety screws on McDonald's toys from the 90' which makes sens because Artemis was just a giant jobs program for like a million subcontractors.

Anyone who doesn't just use phillips heads in their product disgust me. No, your faggy design is not an improvement, it has no special purpose, there is absolutely no reason for it other than keeping some retard and talentless design engineer employed.
>>
>>532265468
Every modern camera runs pictures through AI to "improve" them by now. This adds AI style artifacting to real pictures as well. This is so that in the future it's going to be impossible to tell real pictures and AI pictures apart.

I have no doubt that NASA is faking it's space missions, they have a long track record of doing that, but finding AI artifacts in their pictures isn't going to be an accepted smoking gun among pledditors, because all pictures real and fake going forward is going to have them.
>>
>>532266787
Phillips heads were literally designed to easily strip and break

They are probably the worst possible outcome to become the defacto standard
>>
>>532267042
All the other screws have the exact same issues. No, your fancy off kilter octagon does not lock 0.8% tighter. There's nothing special about phillips heads except that they are the standard and everyone on the planet is equipped to work with them. If allen heads were the standard, allen heads would be fine. But we use phillips heads in this civilization, fucking deal with it. Using anything else instantly outs you as a complete retard who should be kicked in the balls.
>>
>>532267122
Square heads are better, especially for wood.

>>532267154
No.
>>
>>532266965
The main problem here seems bullshit AI upscaling. The second image has different bullshit upscaling artifacts from the first. They are clearly both upscaled, can't blame that on the original photograph.

As someone who just built an entirely new deck and also an entirely new elevated deer blind, torx head is by far and away the best screw head design. Phillips strip way too frequently under high torque load.

Your jeet carpenters suck.

>>532267305
That's an alloy issue. A high quality phillips screw will not "strip way" while a low quality torx screw will, and vice versa.

The shape of the track on the screw makes 0 difference and anyone who says differently is audiophile tier, with their faggy 30cm thick cables.

Torx is for homosexual faggots
Phillips is best for regular applications, Allen is best for high torque applications
I love working on my industrial sewing machines. All 3mm Allen bolts that take a fuck ton of torque to break loose
>>
>>532267371
>alloy issue
Yeah let me just ensure every single screw is made with the highest quality metals for every product ever rather than just tweaking the head design such that it doesn't matter
You clown

They're all illegal, but the mexican at nasa jammed a regular phillips screw driver into each one and made it look like normal screw.

>Phillips strip way too frequently under high torque load
This was embraced as a useful side feature not long after their patent. Failing under high torque was a way to deal with poor machinery control during automated processes and became part of its functionality.
You and many others are using screws which inherently are designed to fail easily.
>>
>>532268397
Yeah because the vast majority of things don't require incredibly high or precision torque. It is also very easy to standardize plus the old flathead could still be used in a pinch on a Philips.

What I don’t understand is why them use different screwheads. They should use the same screwheads so that you can easily do maintainance in space.

If you buy a low quality shitty chinese phillips screw, then it's going to strip away under tension.

If you buy a low quality shitty chinese torx screw, then it's going to strip away under tension.

Tip left looks new, others appear consistent with a retard installing torque-set screws with a #2 Phillip's because they were too lazy to go get the right tool from their box.

Robbie bits really are the best. They're just as convenient as Phillips, but a lot less prone to slippage. I can really torque on some Robinson screws.
When I was a sparky I rarely used my Phillips because most outlet screws (even the plaster ring screws) were combination Robbies.

nah torx is the best
>>
>>532269696
The average golem sees a star shaped screw and shoves a star shaped driver into it. He doesn't know about ph0 ph1 ph2 pz1 pz2 ... Torqx is for jeets and chinks forcing them to use the correct tool. A White man shapes his flathead on the wheel for profile with bite
>>
>>532264945
The Jews had something to do with that.
>>
>>532270768
>torx
>forcing them to use the correct tool
I beg to differ. Torx is a very universal kind of tool. Not only can you use smaller size Torx in a pinch (please don't, except in dire emergencies and bloody well replace the screw then), it's also perfect for extracting stripped screws. Cogwheel shape plus pressure is perfect for getting out a screw with the head stripped round by some nigger ape who cannot tell Philips and Pozidrive apart.

I use torx heads for that purpose. See >>532271289. That notwithstanding, I doubt astronauts have any inclination, much less ability to improvise. There's immense selection pressure to be conformist by-the-book types on them.
