America is a welfare state, if you're a boomerThey should cut defence spending down to 2% of GDP instead of spending so much money prosecuting wars for Israel. And put that money into expanding Medicare to cover everybody instead of just boomers, as well as reallocating Medicaid funding to Medicare. A boomer because they worked as a filing room clerk 30 years ago shouldn't mean they deserve to make more money than young people.They should remove public benefit programs, like pensions, and sdcial security, and put it into a sovereign wealth fund for funding a flat UBI for everybody.Remove capital gains tax and replace it with a wealth tax.The budget could be a lot more simple than it is and make people's lives better in the process.
