I grew up in East Germany, the DDR, when socialism was in there. I posted on this yesterday too.My earliest life, my Mother and Father were in good favour with party officials. My Mother would help set up the meeting places for the party members. Tables, seats, etc. They would help with gathering people together, organising local votes, not that they mattered. When big delegates would come to speak to local party officials, my Mother was one of the people who would help to prepare food. We lived in Gera, it was lots of factories and my Father made textiles and boots. Aside, sometimes people would be sent material and things from family outside of the DDR, so my Father would put together coats, trousers, wall hangs or whatever they wanted made. Nobody was rich. In fact, the clothes me and my brother wore were made from the offcuts of these that didn't get used.This all sounds rather idyllic but we were only allowed these due to my family's connection with the party. Other people were not so lucky.We would sometimes wake up to find a neighbour had been taken away in the night. We would know to no longer even think their names. They were gone and that is all.My cousin and her father were shot by the stasi. We think what happened is she was raped by a party official and when her father wanted justice, they shot them both, claimed it was treason and crimes against the state.My father one day fell out of favour with the party and our life changed. He was told he no longer can work in the factory and was sent to Leipzig for the coal mines. We would follow shortly. But before we go, we were told my father died after a machine went into him and killed him. We only saw my Father twice more in that month he was away.We also could not keep the chickens we had anymore, they were taken away by the stasi. We were moved to a small town in the country where the water was not good.You don't want communism. Socialism is the way to communism. You don't want this!

2.What we are seeing now is socialism.I see on the videos when people are arrested for posting something, the police come at night, tell them that they will be arrested and taken in the unmarked so as not to cause a fuss. This is exactly how the stasi operated, too.The people who are arrested today, once people know they are racists or whatever, they are ostracised and can even lose their job. This is exactly the same as how the DDR operated. You can't do your job anymore, the people who know you now don't want to know you anymore.Our school was always about Marx and Engels. The bigger subjects like maths and physics you could only get taught if your parents knew the right people. We do the same now. We make education so expensive and so much debt that most people cannot reach it.People in the DDR were all poor. Nobody had money. I don't know anyone who owned a car, in our prefab in Gera, only one person who was our party official had a television. We were sometimes allowed to come and watch but only when something big happened for the DDR and we were all meant to be happy.I came to the UK when my Mother got scared socialism in Germany would rise again. We had free education here, but also ability to own things, invest ourselves and build ourselves.The only other place I hear of late stage capitalism is lessons in the DDR. And of course everytime in the west is late stage capitalism. Really, it does not exist. It is only what socialists call it when they are taking it all over. Capitalism only fails with socialists want it to.The police in this country protect the invading Muslims. In the DDR we hear of Gadaffi, too. He was the only thing standing between the West and Taliban. We hear of this already in the 1980s. And when my Mother would tell people of this, she would just get strange looks.This is all constructed. The end and immutable goal of socialism is communism. But you can only get this through force and by destroying the fabric of people.
