anyone remember how hard this shit was shilled back in the 2010s? it seemed like every kid i knew going out of high school back then was going into cybersec, compsci or compeng. it was so mainsteam even boomers knew what web development was, and there were a gorillion fucking tutorials on youtube for every programming language. it seemed like every normgroid did this shit on the side at one point, all you needed was a pc with an internet connection and suddenly you could become a master coder working for Google if you just learned to code.then 2020 happens and suddenly pajeets have taken over every single tech company, compsci is seen as a mcdonald's-tier degree, 'vibe coding' is fucking everywhere and the job market for coding is one of the worst in the world. it was a meme and millions fell for it. and now nursing and trades are being shilled the fuck out of, the government paying for everything and promoting them as the next easy six-figures careers. will they be a meme too?
>>532295887The people that "fell" for learn to code in the early 2010s have become rich as fuck by now. It is just people who still went into CS after 2018 that are getting fucked.Like everything else in life, which careers are profitable and which aren't is all about timing.
>>532295887Imagine cute pajeeta nurses. Anyways, it’s probably the same thing. They are just making justification to import shitton of pajeet nurse and electricians.
