Nobody said this. 2024 was projected to be a close election and it was.
>>532321815
He received a plurality (not a majority) of the popular vote against one of the worst candidates of all time, who never won a primary on campaign promises he subsequently completely abandoned or betrayed outright.

You literally fell for Trump.

>comparing relative metrics
They do the same shit with inflation. Comparing a relative number without it being normalized is utterly worthless. I say this as someone who dislikes Trump, I am merely pointing out how worthless these stats are, their sole point is to try and create public opinion, not inform you of it.
>>
>>532324411
>didnt flip a single red district
Elections aren't decided by districts, retard. And it isn't just the popular vote that was close, the electoral college was decided by 229,766 votes, literally one of the smallest margins ever.
>>532324494
Not an argument, ham planet.

Holy fucking cope. Trump won literally as hard as any Republican possibly can after kikes spent the past several decades flooding the country with shitskins. Cum Allah didn’t win a single swing state, I don’t even think she flipped a single county from 2020
>>
>>532328410
Trump won by under 230,000 votes in three swing states. He did not receive a majority of the popular vote. He has since betrayed the promises that delivered him his narrow victory and is the least popular president this early into their tenure ever. Stop coping, lil migga.
>>
>>532328579
Trump was trying to win electoral votes, not individual votes. If he was trying to win the popular vote he would have, seeing how bad Kamala got raped in the actual election instead of your fantasy one. And he did get a plurality of the popular vote so your argument is disingenuous and gay all around
>>
iran stuff will cement him as worst leader in human history
>>
>>532328743
so you admit he is a minority supported president?
>>
>>532328860
Not a democracy, consider crying about it more
>>
>>532321612
As the saying goes, Democracy is controlled by the small minority who votes.
>>
>>532328743
>Trump was trying to win electoral votes
He did so very narrowly.
>not individual votes. If he was trying to win the popular vote he would have
He literally campaigned in New York and New Jersey.
>And he did get a plurality of the popular vote
No it isn't. My argument is that he had had a narrow victory, both in the popular and electoral vote, which is the truth.
>>
>>532329259
Trump did not win the electoral vote narrowly. This is an objective falsehood. Coconut didn’t win one swing state. Hope this helps.
>>
>>532329399
>Trump did not win the electoral vote narrowly
Yes he did. He won the electoral college by 229,766 votes, among the lowest ever in a general election.
>>
>>532329587
There are 538 electoral votes.
>>
>>532321612
>CNN
Whatever the fake news media say the opposite is true. Trump is highly popular right now for taking the fight to Iran and libshits are seething and dropping fake polls to cope
>>
>>532329659
You're a fucking retard, bro. The maximum number of electoral college delegates is completely irrelevant to this discussion.
>>
>>532329804
Actually, the number of electoral votes is the only thing that’s relevant to who wins the presidency. Maybe brush up on that part before the citizenship test, on the off chance you live in a state that actually requires you to prove you’re a citizen to vote
>>
>>532321612
Reminder that enten is the worlds biggest idiot
https://home.dartmouth.edu/news/2022/10/harry-enten-11-breaks-down-midterm-election-trends
>enten thinks 2022 midterm election turnout will be high
Its lower than 2018 was
>enten thinks republicans will take a +15-+30 in congress
Democrats +1
>specifically highlights PA, AZ, NV, GA as republican flips in house and senate
Of the four qualifying senate races, none went red. Pennsylvania DID flip, but it was previously a red state and flipped blue. I am uncertain if he failed to realize basic political facts when he listed it as a potential flip to republicans, but I will give him slack and assume he thought pennsylvania 'ought to' go democrat in 2022 because of prior polling data but there was a chance that it might defy that data and end up red, which means the democrats winning was the 'expected' outcome, and he simply made a failed prediciton like he did with the other three states. Also, of the ~80 qualifying house races, three flipped red and a fourth flipped blue, but this isnt much. For example, a state that actually had an unusual number of red flips that would have been a worthy prediction was NY with 11. So not only was he wrong, he was playing it safe and he was still wrong.

Since 2024 they made him stop doing predictions and all he does is invent new 'enten aggregate' polling methods to find ways to make trumps approval rating lower than it was with yesterdays aggregate.
>>
>>532329887
You're such a stupid sack of shit. Everybody knows the electoral college determines the winner and everybody knows there are a maximum of 538 electoral votes. That's completely irrelevant to the fact that Zion Don only won the electoral college and thus the presidency by 229,766 among three states.
>>
>>532330103
>That's completely irrelevant to the fact that Zion Don only won the electoral college and thus the presidency by 229,766 among three states.
This is such a strange way of looking at it, highlighting only the states with the narrowest margins of victory. Like yeah, if you take 250k republican voters out of michigan and georgia and wisconsin then he loses those electoral votes and they all flip blue. But thats just removing them from the board entirely. Put those 250k voters in, say, new jersey and thats enough to flip new jersey red and trump is suddenly winning again.
>>
>>532330608
>highlighting only the states with the narrowest margins of victory
Because that's how much he won by, retard.
>>
>>532330647
Im saying its a strange way of looking at it. Trying to focus specifically on votes in high college value close-result states after the fact as justification for the election result. Let me try to explain it to you better.

>kamala harris was hated by the people. If i selectively removed 227k specific voters in specific key states like new hampshire and new mexico i could create a scenario where she recieves less than 180 electoral votes and trump has a larger margin of victory for his second presidency than obama 2012 did
