My friend and I stopped to help him, because we are white. He kept screaming “don’t tell my woman” The sheriffs came and took him away. Then they joked with us about how they couldn’t believe we actually stopped. Then they asked where we were headed, we told them and they told us it was the heroin smuggling capitol of the US. Then they asked us if we were armed, both of us lifted our shirts to show them we were. They just looked at us and said good. That was just the beginning. Insane place.
