Back side
It was taken when Earth eclipsed the Sun from Orion's point of view with a 1/4 second exposure and a 51200 ISO (lots of light coming in)
All of the light coming from Earth is reflected from the full Moon behind the camera
That's also why you can see stars in this image

I have spoken to a couple retired NASA scientists. Some things that has always bothered me is they both said earth is an oblate spheroid but the images shown to the public are not at all what earth looks like. That photos of it taken in space are actually doctored to make it look round, instead of rough or warped. They both eluded to the fact that they don't want humans to see the Earth as imperfect or some shit like that. They then told me that all the photos of galaxies and even our gas giants' moons are heavily edited and are artist renditions of specks of light. The reason we even know IO has volcanoes is by sheer chance of seeing an eruption by chance. Basically space is real but they change people's perceptions of reality for reasons the two NASA scientists could not explain to me. Like to me I can handle that Earth isn't a perfect circle and that the galaxies we see are basically all gone and zoomed in images are just clouds of light, not individual stars. Why hide this from the general population? Do they literally see us as cattle that can't accept reality?

Retard, You don't do shit. It depends entirely on the downscaling algorithm, both from the platform in question, and whoever took the screenshot and adjusted the size. I don't need to, the edges are wrong, the lighting is wrong, the clouds don't move in four hours, the full sunset occurs in 4 hours? The earth is evenly lit proving it's a daytime photo with the sun behind the photographer and yet there is no change aof tone from the center towards the edges to turn the form and there's no form shadow anywhere proving it's a composite image. Fuck this isn't difficult. The earth should be lit like this >>532331448

>i use all the algorithms
Full retard. There's dozens of them, maybe hundreds, and there's literally no reason to use all of them unless you're an absolute idiiot
Nearest neighbor absolutely creates aliasing and it's well documented.
>Nearest Neighbor: Each cell value in the resampled raster is
determined by simply copying the value from the closest input
cell. This method is most suitable for reprojecting a raster object
(without a change in cell size) when preserving the original cell
values for later quantitative analysis is important. When
resampling involves rotation, the nearest neighbor method introduces severe aliasing of sharp edges.

"Processing: Jim Weigang" What do you think "processing" means in this instance? It means created. That is 100% NOT an actual picture. It is a digitally constructed "photo" that has been ran through "processing" to produce the desired result.

I don't think that's radiation, I think that's just how the Nikon D5 works at such a high ISO
This reviewer took an image with it in a very dark room, so dark he said his iPhone camera photo turned out "inky black"
Then he took one with the D5 at F1.4 and 64,000 ISO, and this is what he got (cropped at 100% scale)
https://nikonrumors.com/2016/05/21/nikon-d5-review-the-dark-night-rises.aspx/

So yeah, it could be radiation, but it might just be a matter of a wide-open lens and sensor
>>
>>532330690
>>532333586
Sure thing.
Cloud cover radar in South America roughly matches the image too.
It would have been more fun to catch NASA in a lie but I couldn't with what's available.

Jews still did 9/11, The Great Replacement is still real, and the trans rights movement will always be a eugenics program.
>>
>>532334315
Nigga that's the sun facing side. The NASA picture was taken on the dark side.

it’s genuinely baffling that there are actual real people in this thread, not just bots and shills, that think any of this is real.
3 days ago suddenly we were doing a moon mission again out of fucking nowhere?
really?
they literally just had a situation at the ISS that needed non NASA assistance so the astronauts could fucking come home.
1 800 COME ON NOW

exactly

this is a test mission of a new spacecraft, thats why we sent the monkey

>>532334790
Your pictures is on the side of the Earth that's facing the sun and NASA's picture is of the dark side. How are you this dense?
>>
>>532334685
nah. you just haven't been paying attention to space autism, and you're ignorant.

starliner (boeing) is a different craft from orion (lockheed, ESA)
>>
>>532332599
>It orbited earth twice and the curve around the moon doesn't make sense... What is this gay shit?
Okay so:
The two orbits are called gravity burns. The closer you are to the lower point of your orbit, the more efficient the burn is. It takes more time, but saves more fuel than one full burn.
The curve around the moon is because they are caught by the moon gravity while in front of it as it travels, which will slow them down significantly, making them fall back to earth after the moon orbit. If they approached it from behind it would fling them outside the eath's orbit completely.

Anon thats all post-processing, the computer in your camera is photoshopping the pictures.
>>
>>532335020
It proves that NASA's image is wrong if anything because if Africa is upside down on the dark side then it should be right side up when it's on the light side because it flipped. Basic fucking logic. Duh.
>>
>>532335003
No you dumb faggot my point was the illustration doesn't show it orbiting the earth twice... The correct counter was to point out the start date. Nigger you are retarded thanks for your dumb nigger input

What's with this anon that's obsessed with how the earth is "perfectly spherical" (no one has ever ever ever referred the shape of the earth as that ever), and seethes how some people mention it's more complex, but also more accurate oblate shape?
