Why don't Filipinos hate the Japanese as much as the Koreans and Chinese do for what they did to them during WWII?

Filipinos got the carrot or the stick treatment where civillians would be treated with utmost kindness for compliance or total brutality for defiance. Japanese soldiers used to send medical aid and food to starving Philippine civillians, meanwhile when the Americans arrived, they burned down houses of peaceful civillians and even put Filipinos in zoo cages as some sort of a spectacle back in the 1920's, especially when racism against non-whites was a huge thing back then. You could see the same modus operandi happen in the Vietnam war where Americans burnt down huts of ordinary civillians for no reason other than to terrorize them. This whole Japanese kindness thing wasn't just a myth, but stories of them came passed down generations after generations, and even featured in local Philippine TV shows such as MMK.
