You guys are idiots if you think this was a rescue OP.
The crashed 130s and makeshift runway are south east of Isfahan which is also where the nuclear facility and enriched uranium is located.
You don't need 3 130s just to rescue one pilot. You need them to transport 100 pounds of uranium.

Pic related is the location of the U.S. forward base. The f-15 crashed near the kuwait border.
>>
*1000 pounds.
>>
>it wasn't just the greatest and most glorious rescue mission of all time. it was ALSO a daring and succesful mission of sabotage and despoilment.
Cool.
>>
Does seem fishy. Why would you need two huge planes to pick up one pilot? you'd think they would use as less as possible so no to attract attention.
>>
>>532448970
Pretty fucking embarrassing for the Iranians that they let the US build a makeshift runway next to a major city…
>>
>>532449518
Yes pretty much and also why it took so long.
>>
>>532448970
if you think Iranians are keeping all of their uranium in one place or even out on the open, you're fucking retarded
there won't be any quick victories for Trump, there's only more humiliation up ahead
>>
>>532450732
the uranium was buried underneath the rubble of the nuclear facility. the plan I read included flying excavators inside the planes. I know it sounds far fetched but I think that's what happened.
>>
>>532451186
That's absolutely retarded. Then how far this supposed "nuclear facility" from that place?
>>
>>532451877
It's south east of isfahan. The official story makes 0 sense. No way a pilot landed near a major city and stayed hidden. And no way the us sent all these special forces and planes just to rescue one person.
>>
Even if true the mission failed since the planes crashed. Can't extract
>>
>>532452376
Very likely. I think that's why Trump is angry atm.
>>
>>532452303
"South east of Isfahan" can be anywhere. It's one thing if it's 1 km from the landing, and completely another if it's 200+ km somewhere on the other side of the mountain. There should be some official info about such facility being there, either iranian or american.
>>
>>532448970
>You don't need 3 130s just to rescue one pilot.
Yes you do. HC-130 Combat King aircraft are needed to refuel HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopters. C-130 are needed to transport MH-6 helicopters.
>>
>>532451877
The nuclear facility is at 32°35'10"N 51°49'09"E, east of Isfahan.

It's perfectly flat land, so likely no runway was necessary, at least not to land. There seems to be fragmentation damage on upward-facing parts, so it seems that the "base" came under artillery fire
>>
>>532449820
>mutts built a runway that didn't work and had to leave the aircraft behind
seems like American engineering
>>
>>532453521
They are not HC-130. There were 3 C-130 planes which are transport planes. And they landed. That's the official story, so why did they need the helis?
>>
>US asks for satellite imagine to be turned off during this operation.

It might be possible that they did more than rescue a pilot. You wouldn't care about satellite images of fast moving planes and helicopters, but you would care if there was some sort of temporary base set up. Interesting theory
>>
>>532448970
Yes, I agree. Very likely this was a failed attempt to fish the uranium out.

There's like ~40 kilometers straight between those points, not to mention mountains and shit.
>>
>>532448970
You do know that uranium is not stored as a pile of metal, right? You'd need to carry out tanks of uranium hexafluoride, you aren't carrying that shit out with a few planes even if you had them right there and not buried in a secure facility.
>>
>>532454172
I just saw that ABC News claims they were MC-130J. These are similar to HC-130J, and have similar helicopter refueling capability.
ABC News also claims that four MH-6 were destroyed.

ABC News says that the MH-6 were needed because the MC-130J could not land where the pilot was. The MC-130J likely landed at the abandoned airstrip at 32°13'16"N 51°54'04"E

Fox morning news shows saying the CIA ran a decoy ground op at the same time. Maybe the decoy mission was the real one and for some other purpose, but I doubt it.
>>
>>532449430
>succesful
Don't trust the government.
>>
>>532454953
It's possible one of the C-130 planes got shot and had to make an emergency landing and the op didn't go to plan.
>>532455010
Trump literally said he wanted to do exactly that.
>>
>>532455767
>Trump said he wanted to fly by farting hard so obviously it's possible
>>
>>532455088
Do you believe the official story?
Two pilots ejecting from the same jet can land anywhere from a few hundred meters to several kilometers apart. Yet the plane was shot near kuwait. The airman lands 200s kilometers near Isfahan. That makes no sense. The airman was likely rescued in another unannounced op a while ago.

The F-15E was likely shot down over Isfahan. Isfahan is one of the most heavily defended locations in Iran. You can, for example, see an extensive air defense position at 32°35'13"N 51°42'09"E. It is even has its own bunker for the air defenses to hide in.

The earlier rumors about a pilot being rescued in southwestern Iran were likely a feint to mislead Iranians searching for the pilots
>>
>>532457114
Isfahan is 200 kilometers away from the border. so why did the pilot rescue mission not require all these planes and personnel deep in Iran like the airman?
>>
>>532457479
What do you mean? It did require these planes and personnel
>>
nukes aren't real tho
>>
>>532457754
no it didn't. The pilot was rescued near the kuwait border a few hours after the crash. I find it hard to believe the airman landed so far away.
>>
>>532455010
>stored as a pile of metal
gold is tho
>>
>>532455114
Trump said "the second raid came after the first." So apparently there were two raids. I wonder if these were separate raids or if the first raid failed and they sent in backup
>>
>>532449518
fuck you kike on this easter i’m praying the lights go out in israel soon and i’ll never see an israel flag here again

>>532448970
Why doesn't the US but uranium from us? we have so much in the ground.
There's a huge deposit roughly 200kms north of Mount Isa, no mine has been built yet but a company holders a lease to it.
>>
>>532448970

yes. 95% of this board is unfit to even have an opinion on this matter.

>>532448970
100 pounds of uranium weighs 100 pounds, that's less than half of an american soldier. You don't need a transport plane to do that kind of job
>>
>>532448970
the C-130s most likely brought in the helos they used. helos don't have enough range to get that deep into Iran and would be much more vulnerable crossing Iran's perimeter, so they broke them down, put them in C-130s, then flew them into the middle of the country.

It's also not possible given how leaky the white house is and how trump brags over the most microscopic win.

It's not likely that a mission against the uranium will be an extraction mission either. Most likely that they use remote explosives to detonate all of the tanks and spray it everywhere. At its current enrichment it's actually more dangerous as a toxicity hazard than a radioactivity hazard and not that big of a deal overall.
