Can someone explain to me why two of these huge C-130 transport planes were needed to rescue just one downed US pilot? It doesn’t make any sense to me. Is the American government lying about the whole thing being just a rescue operation? Some people are saying that what really happened was an attempt to establish a base inside Iran in preparation of future ground operations of some sort, which was foiled and destroyed. I don’t know how plausible this is but what I am certain about is the American government is not telling us the full story.
how many dead mutts already?im pretty sure they lie on the numberschina is fucking them dirty with fentanyl tho

>>532460663Probably one to carry in a platoon of spec ops soldiers and the other as an air ambulance. A lot more goes into rescuing a pilot than you know.
>>532460663The large cargo aircraft are necessary in order to transport more goyim into the killbox.
>>532460663They basically set of a temporary base of operations, bring a bunch of stuff in. Helis do the actual rescue and then they go out from the base as fast as possible once they are recovered. As much as I hate mutts, it was a ballsy and well pulled move even if it was costly. However things like that can not be done all the time.
>>532460663>It doesn’t make any sense to me.well then the explanation would not help you. if you don't know why you are beyond stupid.

>>532460663My theoryWelcome to my blogThe first wave was the 4 little birds with SF to try and get in and out with the pilotThey got contact as soon as they arrived and 2-3 of the helis were damaged meaning they had too many troops to remove via heliThat meant a MC-130J had to go in, it got hit and hard landed with no landing gear, so its fucked but also adding another 5 people to removeSecond plane goes in, it lands and taxis to the troops that are now in defensive positions around the only cover they have, the first plane, second gets hit on ground and disabled, by this point you have the injured pilot and others and up to 30 troops/crew stranded so a third plane comes in and they make it out this time
>>532460663Seems like It’s all been a lie from the beginning. They probably started the invasion and this “pilot” was the only one left from the front line. They decided to send in a bunch of aircraft to push forward but they all got blown up too
Operation Eagle Claw
>>532461362>so a third plane comes in and they make it out this timeAND THEN EVERYBODY CLAPPED!!!!
>>532460663They carry vehicles and equipmentFlew in, unloaded, setup temp baseSomething happened, couldn't get second out in time so they blew one up
in openRA some times I will have ALL the vehichles to throw at the enemy but then I throw ALL my gas chambers at the enemy and the enemy destroys ALL my shit in one go because I dont know how to play openRA correctly.I bet this happened with trump. He must have seen all the US hardware and said "send all of it" and then the gas chambers all exploded at the same time.
>>532460663So far every single thing the US has said about what they're doing has been an outright lie or half truth.
>>532460663Let's be honest. Mutts are kinda fond of failed operations in iranian deserts...No need for a real reason behind.
>>532461600got to have a movie ending anon
>>532460663America relies on shock troops and extreme asymmetrical force exclusively. Seal teams, paratroopers, marines, ect, are all trained in fast and hard approach. Overwhelm as quickly as possible. Bringing two of the largest airplanes we have for one guy is pretty standard. Seal teams only have about 40 guys on the ground but the teams are in the hundreds after you count the dedicated support staff, pilots, analysts, translators, drone operators, command, coms, resupply, ect. Also, our tactics are extremely reliant on air superiority. If you have good air defense, America isn't going to forcibly legalize buttsex in your country any time soon.
>>532461600Kind of makes sense, the alternative is this was them trying to set up their operation to seize the uranium.
>>532460663Cuz he was big boy.
>>532460663They were used as transport craft for like 100 operators and probably some armor. Possible that they did not know how long it would take to get the pilot, could have been prepared to be there for up to about a week.
>>532461362I will add that I reckon Iran took more than a few lossesIf not they would be all over it but they have been very quiet about any engagement so for me that suggests the took a bit of a pasting
>>532460663>Can someone explain to me why two of these huge C-130 transport planes were needed to rescue just one downed US pilot? It doesn’t make any sense to me.They were Gunships
>>532461844The uranium is in central Iran. This operation was in SW Iran, near the Iraqi border.
>>532460663The C-130 were probably used to carry fuel for the helicopters, if you read up Op. Eagle Claw it kinda makes sense.
>>532461193This. The main objective was to rescue the pilot, and not let him be captured by the Iranian forces. Which they would rather lose a few aircraft than have the pilot captured and used as leverage and propaganda.
>>532462075They would be called AC-130 if they are gunships.
>>532462100There are claims that this occurred near Isfahan. I won't disagree with you, would make more sense to try this near the border.
>>532461193such planes can’t land without a runway. There’s no runway. They were shot down, and their crews are likely dead. Simple logic. You don’t land these in a rocky desert. They dropped troops, were shot, half of the troops were killed. End of story.>but where are the bodies?Burned beyond recognition and splattered all over the place in a fine paste.Use your fucking brain ffs. Starting with “how do you land a c-130 without a runway in the middle of a rocky desert ?”
>>532460891Bear Grylls would just eat a bunch of bugs and drink dirty water through his ass and get to the meeting point. You grew weak.
>>532462953i dont doubt the US hides loses, and that they did take some damage. I also dont buy the stuck on the ground story. But those planes are meant to land on rough terrains and the US probably has an inventory of places within iran that they could put such bases from. Those planes are meant to land in rough areas. And the location wasnt that far away from the border. We did see planes and helis flying within Iran and nobody shooting at them with manpads. I hate the US and a lot of things could have gone wrong with the OP but what matters is that they were succesful in recovering the pilot so they denied that victory to iran, even if we dont know the extent of the cost.
>>532460663If you're brown, you wouldn't get it.You have no frame of reference for valuing human life.
>>532463479Rough terrain? We are talking very rocky rough terrain there, the moment you hit the ground, you lose half of your wheels, tumble and crash. They never landed. Well, technically, they did, in pieces.
>>532460663>huge C-130 transport planesdidn't you see the video they were refuelling the choppers low and slow from the C-130's. No doubt they had to fly all this equipment in from very far away otherwise it would have gotten droned on the ramp long ago. then the C-130s either got shot up or didn't have enough fuel to fly back. sacrificing all this equipment for one pilot is pure hubris. "bases" are obsolete they would be destroyed within days with modern technology. modern warfare is going to have to go subterranean.
>You smell that? Do you smell that?... Cope, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of cope in the morning. Smells like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end...
>>532460663They need to fly in the burger king to support US troops in the field.
>>532460891You think they had Deltas driving around in Dune Buggies?
Looks like we have to dust off a few
>>532467106>look our gargantuan reserves>all 6 of themkek
>>532460663nigger, it was a cluster fuck; a pr nightmare... an america did everything it could to prevent it...it didn't matter how much shit was lost, or how many men were wounded; it only mattered to get the pilot out....he is in critical condition, yet stable? will probably die.or was already dead.but, headlines and pr matter.can't having iran seem like its winning at anything.
>>532461765That mullah's got drip. Just mogging everyone else.
I said it in the other thread and I'll say it again:The US military does not leave anyone behind.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Swp6k6o9gy8
