The jews, or israelites, or Hebrews, or however you prefer to term them, the people of the covenent of Moses in the Old testiment, were required to abide by a conditional set of laws.If they obeyed the laws, they would be blessed, and if they disobeyed they would be punished. However, by the time of Jesus Christ, the foretold Messiah, the jews had disobeyed the Lord to such an extent, that Jesus' arrival signified not only the forthcoming salvation of the world (i.e. Genesis ch12 v1-3, wherein the world would be blessed through Abram), but also, a final chance for repentance for the people of Israel themselves.

This thread is just a wasteful exercise in denouncing the children of Israel and insisting that only Christians can have the eternal covenant now.
