Why do people believe the "failed raid to get the uranium" story? To get the uranium required airlifting heavy digging equipment and establish a presence at site of at least a week under sustained enemy fire.

It's a stupid, suicidal plan doomed to failure.

Dunno, maybe the plane was spinning during the ejection and the two officers were subject to different atmospheric conditions. Depending on altitude, they could drift quite a distance apart. Will Rankin ejected from his F-8 and was sucked up into a convective storm and transported hundreds of miles over 40 minutes time.

Weird shit happens.

Narrative crating is commonly employed within QAnon and related conspiracist activities to frame the movement's alleged "evidence" as being plainly visible to those "awake," while others remain blind.
It is often used to suggest that monumental, world-changing events are currently happening, but mainstream media and "unawakened" individuals are failing to perceive them.
It acts as a cognitive tool, similar to the concept of "if you didn't see it, it didn't happen," encouraging followers to trust their perceived, secret knowledge over reality.
It reinforces a sense of exclusivity, intellectual superiority, and "insider" knowledge among followers, making them feel they have accessed forbidden truths that are "right in front of our eyes".
It often appears in debates where followers claim "evidence" exists, but cannot produce it, blaming the listener's lack of awareness or allegiance for not seeing it.

Looks like Trump had a Jimmy Carter moment....

The Jimmy Carter hostage rescue debacle refers to the failed military operation to rescue the 52 American hostages held in the U.S. Embassy in Tehran during the Iran Hostage Crisis. The operation, known as Operation Eagle Claw, was ordered by President Carter in April 1980. However, three of the eight helicopters suffered equipment failures, and during the withdrawal, one of the helicopters collided with a transport plane, killing eight service members and injuring five.

How fucking dumb and fat is /pol these days? They found the pilot almost 2 days after he crashed. The average US soldier (not even a well trained AF pilot, just a dumb retard private) is trained on a standard of 12 miles in 3 hours with 45lbs of an equipment + rifle + water. A pilot is in much better shape than a US soldier and also goes through sere school where they learn to do just this (get very far away very quickly without being detected).

>>532508100
C-130s can be used for transporting equipment they might need for extended operations, like little birds or humvees or even just fuel. It's not implausible they'd over prepare or bring excess equipment because the US takes search and rescue very seriously and they can't risk any more blunders in Iran. The biggest question is why they were so deep in the country at all when as far as we know they should've been able to grab him with a helicopter like the other guy. Two C-130s leads to the credence they were doing something more than just search and rescue.
>>532509625
They are trained to run, it's a big part of their survival training. 70 miles is absurd though.

>why carry the helos in the C130's,
I think they were planning on an extended stay in Iran. I think that's what the make-shift runway was all about. The helos were probably flown in, and were being planned to be used for other sorties or perhaps defense purposes of their little base. Which, btw, is stupid as fuck.

Why the hell were they building a base in Iran with such little forces? They probably thought they could do it undetected. But, bro, building a run way whne a whole country is on war footing and paranoid alert is definitely going ot get noticed.

The official narrative makes zero sense.

I'm the fastest walker I've ever meet and I average 4.5mph on flat ground. I'm super fit, hav never owned a car, and walk maybe 30 miles a week in addition to other kinds of exercise. I agree with jacking a car or (more likely again) that this is a bullshit cover story for something else. Because why would a highly trained USAF guy with excellent navigational skills and probably a small compass on your watch or in your flight suit, hike 70 miles northeast into the Iranian interior instead of going west toward the border with Iraq, or the much shorter distance toward the coast? Retard, they do nothing but train for this.
You are comparing him to yourself because you are dumb enough to think your basic bitch exercises make you comparable to a fucking fighter pilot.
Get some fucking perspective.
Every single one of our pilots trains like a division 1 athlete.
You sound like a fucking idiot.

I train like an athlete which is why I know this is a tall order. It's not impossible but it's ridiculously unlikely, the most unlikely aspect being his direction of travel.

>Or was given one. There are Iranians who do hate the regime and would probably be willing to help a US pilot escape capture
im sure every sandnigger cant wait to share their wives with the people who just recently flattened a school with 200 children inside, that really got their rebellion juices flowing.

If there's an unrecoverable engine fire over enemy territory, you eject and let the fucker keep on flying, hoping it crashes as far away as possible from you so enemy forces don't have a good bead on your location.

>4 miles an hour

I through hikes the AT in 2009. On separate trips, I’ve complete the VT Long Trail, the Arizona Trail, about 800 miles of the Florida Trail, the Benton Mackaye trail, and the Pinhoti Trail before it was cool. I’ve taken several shorter (week long) trips to hiking destination on the West Coast, PNW (in the US and Canada), and Southwest. I ran a local hiking meetup group with ~120 members.

Fit people can not traverse unmarked, off-trail, mountainous dessert at 4mph. That’s walking speed on a paved road.
