i think because their whole thing is not worshipping random people and you should keep it to God/Jesus and not a nigger-toe-suckin pope.
>>532556388Every scientist or industrialist from the 20th century would have been made a saint if they were catholic
>>532556388catholics are degenerate idol worshippers
>>532556388Do you pray to her to cure your butthurt?
>>532556388Protestants are Sunni, Catholics are Shia.Simple as.
>>532556388Luther is basically a saint
>>532556388evangelicals are degenerate jew worshippers
>>532556542Now that you mention it it's kinda weird catholics have so few of them compared to protestants
All Christians (that’s the correct term, not “Protestants”) are saints. That is the usage in the Bible. Papists invented “super hero” status to make Roman polytheists and Indo-savages more pliant. They couldn’t just pray to “God”, that’s too ambiguous for someone used to a pantheon, so they were told to pray to the “saint” of their particular issue. “Catholicism” is Roman cult religion with a Christian coat of paint.
>>532556388Saint is just a term referring to a Christian who lives according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Saint is ἁγίου for morally and spiritually pure, holy. In other words anyone who is following and living according to those teachings is a saint. In other words, it's a tacit admission by the Vatican that no one there is living according to the teachings.
Give it to me straight, boys: Was Ma Theresa really a Mister?
>>532556388Because it's catholic aka pagan lite mumbo jumbo
>>532556388>popefake prophet>saintspolytheism and idolatryCatholics are all going to hell.
>>532556388Saints are recognized by WORKS (of miracles).- Catholicism requires 'works' (go out and do charity work, soup kitchens, etc)- Prostestanism only requires 'grace' (believe in god, not 'performative act')Like the Simpsons/FamilyGuy sketches- Catholics, go to church to pray.- Protestants, can stay at home a pray 'in their own way'No LARPING out acts of charity means no opportunity for 'MIRACLES'.

>>532556388Which protestant authority would canonise them?
>>532556388>Why are there no Protestant Saints?every believer is a saint. paul addresses almost all of his communal letters "to the saints in X", not "to the non-saint faithful in X"orthodox have a pretty good view of it by talking about saints known and saints unknown. we remember the names and lives of some small fraction of the saints but the vast majority have been forgotten on earth
