Meanwhile the Soviets failed almost everywhere, their architecture was always somehow wonky and weird, perhaps also oppressive and gigantic. Only in small high-budget buildings like park pavilions Stalinist architecture might be aesthetically pleasing.Picrel is one of my favorites of public Nazi architecture. Even while it's large and imposing, it has some baroque playfulness.
