I also like to showcase my virtues by informing others of all the things I believe in, despite never acting upon those beliefs in private. Despite my whole personality revolving around being politically open minded, I'm intolerant of open debates. In my quest to showcase my tolerance, I forget the essence of politics, namely creating the framework to improve the lives as many people as possible. By hyperfocusing on minorities, rather than just safeguarding their basic rights, I've lost the plot on improving the lives of the majority, thus failing electorally.[/spoiler]
