Pessimism thrives in Western countries
>The Nippon Foundation Awareness Survey of 18-Year-Olds — which surveyed 1,000 people between the ages of 17 and 19 in Japan, the U.S., China, South Korea, the U.K. and India — found that only around 16% of Japanese respondents said that they believed that the future of their country would improve.
>This was the lowest rate among the participating countries, with India and China seeing the highest percentage of people believing that to be the case, at around 62% and 55% respectively. South Korea (23.5%), the U.S. (30.8%) and the U.K. (34%) all ranked above Japan.
>A similar sense of pessimism was seen in how youths in Japan viewed their own future, with only around 62% of respondents saying that they had a dream for their future, the lowest among all participating countries. This is more than 20 points lower than counterparts in India — the highest ranked — of whom approximately 86% said that to be the case.

It's not. But that doesn't mean that Indians have to give up on improving themselves. We aren't doomers.
>>
>>532793154
Japan basically is economically stagnate and is about as poor as Poland while being as expensive as the UK, all while being economically enslaved to boomer managers who have suffocating societal expectations and will ostracize you if you aren’t perfect or stand out in any way. Jap men literally aren’t even interested in fucking real women let alone getting one pregnant and having kids.
>>
>>532793445
>improving themselves
you're doing it wrong
>>
>>532793547
Nah, we're doing it right. We already overtook Japan in GDP and Germany is next. Infrastructure is improving. Education is accelerating. The thorium nuclear reactor in Kalpakkam just achieved criticality (which no Western country has been able to do).
All while we have hope for the future unlike Westerners.

Personally, I live only to slaughter jeets. When the time comes, im sure the whole world will launch a global crusade to destroy Indian civilization. Every man woman and child. The language will be forgotten, the history burnt, the temples razed and the fields salted.

The reason why everyone in Japan is pessimistic because Japan is it the highest IQ country in the world. The entire world is going to shit and Japan is in between a rock and a hard place, America and China specifically, with the Sword of Damocles to the north, Russia.
There's a bunch of foreign tourists fucking everything up, monotheistic world religions operating no differently from cults, Zionist occupied government agents from the US meddling in our affairs. It's a shit show. Combine that with the weak yen, and go fucking figure.
>>
>>532793154
They're dogs. America is dying and so is Japan. Japan was like a leech we let suck on us i guess. They need to close their border, abandon their cities and head back to nature

According to another survey, over 80% of Japanese people say they would want to be born in Japan again if they could be reborn, so
the OP’s survey simply reflects the fact that Japanese people are hard on themselves when it comes to self-assessment, rather than being pessimistic.
>>
>>532809057
>over 80% of Japanese people say they would want to be born in Japan again
Please post a link where it says that. I would like to see what other countries said.
>>
>>532809057
Also, how does being hard on yourself lead to having no dream for your future?
>>
>>532809057
Also, is the 80% for all Japanese or only young people? Because older people are definitely better off than the young.
>>
>>532809371
Do you understand Japanese Language?
There are statistics in the age-group chart, so you should be able to figure that out. It’s the blue chart at the bottom.

“If I were reborn, I’d still choose Japan”—over 80% agree

The age division is even older.

Looks like it's even more for India! Uh oh, your narrative...how come Indians want to be reborn in India yet are optimistic about the future???
>Given a choice, most Indians would like to be born as Indians again. In an exclusive poll by The Times of India, nearly 90% of people in five metros — Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad — opted to be Indians in a hypothetical next birth. The poll was conducted among those in the 18-35 age group, and their overwhelming preference for India was across religious and gender divides.
This survey is also from 2013 btw.

And only 4% of people want to leave India.

The graph shows “that people are optimistic that next year will be better for them than this year,”
but since it has remained virtually unchanged over the past eight years, it suggests that Japanese people simply tend to be hard on themselves from the start.
>>
>>532811497
>declined 6% from just 10 years ago
>not even recovered to COVID levels
>virtually unchanged

Even your link (which you deliberately did not provide) says
>32位のフランスとは12ポイントの差があり、日本人はグローバル各国と比べても、明るい未来を期待できず、悲観的に考えている人が多いことがわかりました。
>With a 12-point gap separating them from 32nd-ranked France, the findings reveal that—even when compared to nations across the globe—many Japanese people hold a pessimistic outlook, unable to envision a bright future.
>また2017年からの比較でみても、新年への前向きな期待は、コロナ禍以前のレベルには戻っていません。
>Furthermore, even when compared against 2017 levels, positive expectations for the new year have not yet returned to pre-pandemic levels.

The only future Globohomo offers is slaving away for jews & gays so your economic zone can be turned in to India.
>>
>>532812047
I think you're referring to this graph, and you're absolutely right.
The fact that Japan is overwhelmingly more pessimistic than other countries simply reflects how harshly we judge ourselves.
It's ironic that the more you argue against me, the more you end up agreeing with me, lol.
>>
>>532812689
But the argument is that it's because of Western culture that you are pessimistic or """judge yourself harshly""" (because, of course, judging yourself harshly means you think that next year will be worse than this year...that isn't being pessmistic, no)
That graph also proves the same thing with Western countries at the bottom. Even Korea is way above other Western countries.
