I think that the failures of the system to enforce this in the past mean that the best way forward is a one time limited amnesty deal, followed by deportations for everyone that doesn't qualify.

No matter what your ideological stance is, we're not going to deport 11 million people. It just can't be done. Whether you WANT it or think it SHOULD be done is irrelevant, its not an option because its logistically impossible. So we should pick our battles and focus on the fights we can win over the fights that we have already lost.

If you have been in America for 10+ years and have no criminal record beyond the border crossing? Fine, you can stay. Its not like you're causing trouble. If you have a stable job and a family here? We'll put you on the list for the green card program and issue you a visa, you might get rejected but you can get your fair shot at it.
But if you have a criminal history and or have not been here for very long? Boot.

By opening up this program, a lot of people will apply for it who don't qualify. This will give the information needed to easily identify and track them down. We have to legitimately honor the deal for the people who do qualify for the amnesty so its not a scam and to avoid a legal clusterfuck, but once the window is over we still have all of that info on the people who didn't qualify and that makes them easier to deport because they have essentially self-reported.

We pair this not with ramping up border security and ICE raids, because thats actually counterintuitive. Most illegal immigrants in the US didn't get here by sprinting across the southern border, they got here by coming her completely legally and then overstaying their Visa. We need to track and enforce THAT better, that cuts down on illegal immigrants vastly more than anything else.

the first illegal immigrants were whites

they should go back to britain or europe then

>best way forward is a one time limited amnesty deal
I agree but it needs a deadline like before 2010 and even then a stiff fine of some sort. Like tens of thousands of dollars. Also all H1Bs need to go back no exception.

Why doesn't he bring up the employers? We have illegals EVERYWHERE working on construction sites, hotels, cleaners, etc and everyone turns a blind eye. The people hiring illegals need to go to jail and very few people bring this up because its uncomfortable and hurts the bottom line.

no one is illegal on stolen land
fucking idiot

It's really not, just deport a few million a year.

"True believers" like Walsh fail to understand that the Republican party benefits just as much from illegals (in the form of very cheap labour for their corporate benefactors like Tyson foods) as Democrats do and will NEVER, EVER, EVER truly get rid of them. It would take a fucking violent revolution and complete overthrowing of the US government and a total conversion away from American corporate ideology to ever truly remove the illegals, this is something that would take a century.

How did king nigger deport more people and not make it so showy? Despite your feelings of Good and Pretti, they overall destroyed the movement. The majority of people see the showiness as the problem, not the actual issue at hand. But of course Maga nutjobs cannot comprehend this because they have a revolving urge of wanting to (((accidentally))) shoot someone 10 times in the back of the head.

t. cuck who arrived in the united states 250 years ago with a jewish book tucked under his arm and promptly destroyed what the natives had kept pristine and unspoilt for over 10,000 years by creating a concrete skyline of kike temples to money and importing millions of africans to build it

i guess if the new arrivals just disregard native laws and ways and kill the natives, they can become the new citizens

learned from the best kikes on earth

That already happened during the Reagan administration. No more.

Yeah, our economy doesn't really function as-is without exploitable cheap labor. You saw this unfold in real time when Trump went hard on deportation and then quickly had to walk it back to "Well, unless you are working the shit jobs no one else wants to do and which my corporate donors depend on to maximize profits. Then you can stay."

Until we do something like nationalize the farming industry so that cheap labor is no longer required for it to function and other changes, removing illegal labor just knocks over a supporting pillar that everything else is built around with predictably disastrous results.

The actual solution is probably something like a halfway house situation: the US government takes in workers who want into the country, gives them a place to bunk with other immigrants, and contracts them out as cheap labor to farms and shit. Work with the program, keep your nose clean, do your time? You get to become a citizen eventually. The companies that benefit from the labor pay the government for use of assigned immigrant labor, and the government can and will deport any other illegals they find on the farm who are not part of the program... rewarding members of the program who give tips on unsanctioned workers.
This keeps track of the immigrants and acts as a release valve, gets the cheap labor where it needs to be, acts as a filtering process to weed out the good from the bad, encourages them to report on each other for breaking the rules, offers a 'fair' work for citizenship path, and the government makes it a revenue stream instead of an expense.
