And white people do not typically like to colour everyone with the same brush, and will tend to think favourably of the Indians they met before things got as bad as they are today, and use those as the standard, even if those people are the exception, not the rule. Gypos on the other hand? No one has ever had a good interaction with one of them ever. Everyone hates them because as "people" they are incredibly lowtrust, flatout reject western society unless they are capable of abusing the welfare systems put into place.
