CANADA ANNOUNCES 100 BILLION DOLLAR PROJECT TO BUILD A MASSIVE ROAD AND FIRST EVER DEEP WATER PORT CAPABLE OF HANDLING "ARCTIC-MAX" TANKERS AND CARGO SHIPS.

THIS WILL BE THE FIRST EVER DEEP WATER PORT IN THE ARCTIC BUILT BY, AND OPERATED BY CANADIANS.

As the U.S. looks to annex Greenland and secure control over the Arctic Circle, it edges closer to a historic milestone: the first viable Northwest Passage route from the Orient to the West. This shift is redirecting strategic focus away from the Middle East and the protection of the Suez Canal - toward Alaska, Greenland, and Northern Canada.

The Northwest Passage slashes the voyage from the Orient to the West by over 5,000 nautical miles - a difference vast enough to reshape global supply chains forever. A new age of abundance will emerge, with the United States at its center. No longer shackled to military installations in the Middle East, no longer dependent on the Mediterranean, the Gulf of Aden, or the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, America will instead anchor its influence in the Arctic - a region far closer to its homeland.

And in this new era, Israel’s grip on the American elite, on Congress, and on future presidents will weaken permanently.

Imperium mortuum est; Vivat Imperium!
https://youtu.be/auFpowDCLB8

GREENLAND IS AND WILL FOREVER BE AMERICAN CLAY

The closure of the Strait of Hormuz and eventually the Bab-el-Mandeb is part of this plan to decouple from the Gulf. If you look at a map of proven oil reserves you will notice first of all Venezuela has an enormous amount of oil which is why Trump is so focused on colonizing Venezuela before the end of his term, then as you look at the map your eyes will turn towards the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian gulf and the oil in that region. If you cut off the Strait of Hormuz all you are left with is North America, Venezuala, and Russia as viable alternatives.

Now if you look at a map of which nations are the most reliant on imports of LNG and Gulf oil you will notice that Northern Europe and East Asia (Japan, Phillipines, South Korea, Vietnam) are heavily reliant on energy imported from the Strait of Hormuz.

Which parts of the world does the Northwest Passage open up to trade? Northern Europe and East Asia!

We can announce whatever we want it will never happen. Nobody is investing 100b into a Canadian infrastructure project, you would have to be clinically insane.
>>

You are coping and seething shitjeet
The project is already funded
They took 40 Billion out of the Indigenous Fund to pay for it.

Thats actually a good idea. Set up boom-towns with dirt cheap housing and high paying jobs.
>>
Good luck fighting with the Dene and Inuvialuit. Just like every other port in the Arctic it will be dragged along for 20 years, and by then new technologies will be created and markets will open up in other countries making it economically unfeasible. It's not even a good military investment because its still like 1000 km from the north pole and we don't have icebreakers or subs to park there. Unless industry and the people are willing to invest another 300 billion in LNG infrastructure in a commodity thats becoming increasingly irrelevant like coal, there's no point. Then you still need to deal with permafrost melting and periodically flooding that will fuck up the road or railway.
>>
>>532820240
It’s an ill-conceived idea by any standard. We don’t have refining capacity in Canada to process the goo we scape from the tar sands so at best we’re selling cheap and buying dear. You can’t even build permanent roads in the arctic because the permafrost buckles them in a year or two. Pipelines will not fare better. It’s silly is what I’m saying.
>>
>>532820514
Fair enough. I just like the idea of us not sucking shit through 10 bricks forever. Hopefully we can 51st and it wont matter what bullshit the east wants.

By "us" do you mean the demographic the feds revile on a regular basis? It's never going to get better, your quality of life is going to degrade further and further until MAID becomes enticing and your jeet replacement can take your place in the world.

Ignoring the hyperbolic retard our government is really stupid/corrupt. To me the sensible thing to do would be to invest that money into a some nuclear power plants and refineries in central/northern Alberta so we can actually supply ourselves with refined petroleum instead of selling the crude cheap to the Americans. We’re a plantation economy built around providing the US with cheap raw materials and that’s how it’ll remain unfortunately.

We already give enough money to kikes. I'm not joining the fucking mutts with all their niggers, spics and undying love for israeli cock. We have enough shitskins up here as it is and because 3/4 of this country is made up of 1st or 2nd immigrants who were likely bombed by the US at some point, they would actively fight any thought of joining the US and would be a neverending security risk for Washington.

yes, why do you think the US is suddenly so interested in the Arctic? although there isn't really any infrastructure at that point right now and it's so far away from either of their population centers that it will be hard to project power there, but there will be a scramble to secure the region should Arctic trade actually become viable.

AMA because Im probably the most knowledgeable on it, on pol

Alot of the Grays Bay Projec, they will count it towards their NATO 5% GDP spending

They have long ignored the needs of the North, so they are going to upgrade everything to meet their indigenous commitments to Inuit, and also count that towards their 5% GDP

>>532819483
You wildly underestimate the incompetence of the Canadian government. This arctic shit should've been happening 20 years ago but all we've had is endless meetings about it. The fact that they've involved natives with this current plan is a giant red flag that this is not a serious project but just another corrupt cash grab. Even if actually did start tomorrow we're already decades behind Russia and we have zero long term leadership to actually keep a Canadian presence in the arctic viable.

The arctic belongs to Russia, because they actually give a fuck about it and are intelligent and long sighted enough to do create infrastructure there.
