>>532832614This isn't necessary /pol/ approved, but I recently watched an old movie from 1934 called "Heat Lighting" that was pretty interesting.It was one of the last films released before the Hayes Code, and there's nothing explicit in it, but it's interesting to see the sexual innuendos and themes and unmarried couples who clearly just had sex (off-screen) that you wouldn't see again in movies for a long time.I think a lot of /pol/tards have a skewed impression of what things were like in the past, and that everyone was trad and conservative and prim and proper, there was no pre- or extramarital sex, horny high school kids weren't fucking each other, etc. and that all of that stuff only started happening sometime after the mid to late 1960s. When in reality, all of that stuff has been going on since forever, but the media was heavily censored and depictions or suggestions of that stuff wasn't allowed.

Yeah, it's partly a comedy, but it was way ahead of the curve on the "Franken food" controversy. A popular snack food that devours people from the inside and turns them into raving lunatics and an Alex Jones style anti-communist conspiracy theorist leads his militia into the factories and lays waste to them. Love it.
