I am from New York City. I vacationed in Quebec City last month. I ran into a cashier at a mini market in a large gas station. I was sniffling like crazy. She walked over and offered me a tissue. I thanked her for her kindness and told her that such kindness does not exist in NYC. I took the family out for a dinner at the Champlain in the Chateau Frontenac for taking such good care of my son. And this time I was able to actually take my time to enjoy Quebec City with my family. Some parts are a bit touristy but still very nice. My favorite place to eat was the Cochon Dingue on Champlain Road. I went to St. Ann Basilica, which was one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. The people of Quebec City were extraordinarily friendly and kind. I will visit again in a future summer.
