Read some economics you'll realize that there's no reason why everything 'should' get cheaper and cheaper under a free market. That's not what free market economics are about. The only thing free market economics says is that prices emerge from personal valuations and there's a tendency for entrepreneurs to satisfy the most urgent wants, this might or might not create cheaper products. This is entirely dependent on capital accumulation which is dependent on time preference. A free market society could in principle be just a bunch of people eating fruit and hanging around dancing. Nothing about it necessitates cheaper products, growth, etc.
