Key details from the FT piece published earlier today:

• The Trump admin has been seeking a ceasefire for "weeks" - at least since March 21st - when Trump first threatened to destroy Iranian power plants
• Trump has been "worried" about oil prices and was "surprised" by Iranian resilience
• Admin officials believed Iran would be more likely to accept a ceasefire if it were delivered by a muslim-majority country, and enlisted Pakistan for this
• Ceasefire periods between two weeks and 45 days were floated
• The Iranians were willing to budge on limiting their uranium stockpile
• Araghchi and other Iranian officials involved in the negotiations had issues getting the IRGC onboard. Some elements of the IRGC were strongly opposed to any agreement
• At least one senior IRGC official would be included in the Iranian negotiating team

I think Trump accepted Iran's maximalist demands, thinking he could negotiate a compromise once he got negotiations going but that's obviously not happening
>>
>>532847397
trump needs the oil to leave the persian gulf, that buys him another month of fighting before the price shock hits the US
the US is on a timer of about 40-60 days until the strategic petroleum reserves run out (spend to keep the price low and isolate the war propaganda)

at that time the President will have to decide wether to let the american society implode on 7-10$ a gallon prices or to impose export restrictions
which would not only require a total restructuring and requisition of american society but would wreck the world into a total reshuffle and scramble

have you monitored how Iran has fucked the US across the middle east? nah
the US would need 1-2 years to start a credible ground invasion of Iran, that is just to get into the starting blocks and degrade them enough for the combat

Nuking Iran wouldn't cause Hormuz to be any less blocked, and wouldn't cause any further oil shocks as nothing's coming out of the region anyways. It would just cause the current situation to become better over time. Iran has to go. Bombing civilian infrastructure in third countries, not at war with you, because the U.S. attacked you and you can't hit the U.S. mainland, is international terrorism. Iran is a terrorist state and as its citizens glorify this terrorism it is a terrorist society.

Iran has to go. Nobody wants to live in a world where a theocracy gets a nuclear ICBM

>>
>>532847630
here is how a raped iran deal would look like
the US trick is to leverage future concessions (they will break) for current hard gains and advantages (getting oil out of the hormuz to be able to fight and ruin iran for another 30 days free of domestic pressure)

if the deal is
- future sanctions relief
- future ability to impose toll
- lebanon excluded from the deal
- release the oil that is now trapped in the persian gulf
- ceasefire for whatever

then Iran got raped and tricked

any deal that comes out of the current talks will be a trap and hurt irans position and strategic
the win condition of iran is to prevent US troop movement into the middle east, prevent reconstitution of a gathering and logistic point in iraq
preventing the GCC from fielding mass quantity of artillery on the other side of the persian gulf (this is in the process I guess), to wait the next 40-60 day
until the US public will feel the war for the first time and trumps bag of tricks runs out

ceasefire negotiations are vaguely in irans favor as long as they move further along the next 40-60s day and under no circumstances release the oil infusion that is theoretical possible from the persian gulf

It's very clear what's happening. There's a concerted effort to solidify a Judeo-Conservative bloc by alienating everyone else as an opponent trying to undermine Israel and the Republican Party, who are the only positive forces in the world trying to save Western civilization while everyone else is holding them back. The idea now is that America's only true ally is Israel and anyone else is an enemy. This is why American conservatives are so hostile to Europe, NATO, the Supreme Court, etc. Right-wing ideology today is chiefly motivated by a feeling of entitlement and revenge, and they're going to blame everyone else for why they're failing.

It's sort of a monkey's paw. America WILL pursue isolationism like many Trump voters in 2016 wanted. But it will be in the sense that America is going to go its own path of unfettered cruelty and domination along with Israel which shares the same viewpoints, believing that the rest of the world is anti-Semitic and they're the reason Israel is not allowed to defeat their enemies. If things get worse for the world under Trump's reign (economic recession, more Epstein scandals, Supreme Court blocking his domestic policies, etc) then expect Trump to go further and further into lashing out on the world stage and trusting Zionists as his only true friends. Don't be surprised if we invade Cuba, let Israel annex Gaza and the West Bank, cut ties with Ukraine, etc.

the lincoln never left the theater, and at one point fended off a swarm of over 100 missiles and drones.
there is plenty of reason to think america will take the strait by force in order to administer tolls after the talks fail and we hit our final targets. our ships are basically untouchable as proven during our operations in the last few weeks, as well as our operations against the houthis with europe's help. remember, we didn't lose any ships during that operation.

We killed the leaders who are skilled in cunning at that level.

Iran doesn't need american permission to charge toll in the future right now, the US doesn't have the power to prevent it
Iran doesn't need american sanctions relief right now, the pressure on the energy market makes sanction vanish on their own
Iran doesn't (stricly) need the ceasefire to include hezzbollah as they are fucking up israel in the field on their own

what Iran needs is to prevent the US from reconstittuing an advantage in the theater around Iran right now
and to stop the theoretical oil infusion trapped in the tankers of the persian gulf from leaving so the deadline of 30-60 days
when the US will experience the full weight of the price shock

after that Iran can still make a longterm deal, the US will have to cry uncle then
land invasion is not a credible threat as long as Iran got missiles and drones in abundance

>made a 90° turn and moved from 300 miles distance
apparently you believe they were trying to outrun the missiles, in an aircraft carrier. but the maneuver happened after the successful interception so it doesn't negate the fact that our ships are untouchable.
there was also a previous operation in the red sea that proved our ships are untouchable.
this gives me high confidence about the hormuz operation, which is already in planning stages with 35 allies.
we will have to do it before may 14th.

AMERICA wanted the ceasefire and pushed for it, as reported by the Financial Times today. It got Pakistan to announce it because it's a fellow Muslim country and could convince Iran to do it. This is confirmed by the Pakistani PM's tweet about it being sent to him by the White House and written by them. The ceasefire post they wrote included Lebanon and Trump even confirmed this on his TruthSocial. America is desperately trying to get out of this.

The fact that the White House later walked back and said it doesn't include Lebanon is the greatest evidence yet of Israel controlling our government, because we've directly contradicted ourselves and changed our minds because Netanyahu got pissy. Now the ceasefire exists in name only and no one knows what the fuck to do.

BREAKING: The U.S. State Department summoned Iraq’s ambassador in Washington after an “ambush of American diplomats” in Baghdad on April 8, blaming Iran-aligned militias operating from Iraqi territory, according to a State Department readout.

Washington cited “hundreds” of recent attacks targeting U.S. personnel, facilities, and regional interests, and warned Baghdad it has failed to prevent them despite acknowledging efforts from security forces.

The U.S. also accused elements tied to the Iraqi government of providing “political, financial, and operational cover” to militias, saying this is damaging bilateral ties. It demanded Iraq take immediate steps to dismantle the groups.

there isn't really any realistic way to prevent "sandnigger hiding in cave yeeting temu drones" from effecting area denial. which, if the area in question is sufficiently important, can be an extremely big problem.
this is not a US military problem, its a physics and asymmetry problem.

the only way that will work is to wipe your ass with the geneva convention and basically go
> oh yea, habibi?
> well, maybe i can't get you in your cave, but i sure as shit can get all the millions of civilians in your population

or, you know, more realistically, the above, but indirectly, via destroying all the infrastructure of whatever country the sandniggers come from

which is what trump has threatened, at least publicly, and the irgc didn't budge
so, either he follows up on the threat, or he accepts defeat, the us abandons israel and the middle east, and irgc gets to survive and controls the strait for the foreseeable future.
my money is on the former, but there are good arguments for the latter too.
mainly the fact that the us doesn't really NEED the middle east or its oil, secondarily also the fact that what iran has done, others can do too.
nothing prevents the various gulf monarchies from creating a temu account themselves and going tit-for-tat with iran in blockading the strait for each other and bombing each other's infra and all that jazz. so, basically, the strait becomes ukraine 2: same story, sand instead of snow.

the subject is you breaking the Houthis blockade, retarded kike.
Let me remind you:

I said you couldn't houthi.
You claimed tje Houthis lost.
I said the pool is closed and ypu didn't achieve any of your objectives.
You called it pulpit and said it antisemitism to point out that the pool is closed.

Ergo, retarded kike, the topic has always been that you couldn't even Houthi, you had one mission and ypu failed, no shit that based on previous track record there's exactly zero percent chance that AFTER FAILING TWICE AT DEFEATING THE HOUTHIS OR OPENING THE RED SEA, YOU'LL "TAKE HURMUSI".

More like, if Israel uses a nuke the whole gulf is unlivable and you ruin oil infrastructure that would take years to replace. If you launch a nuke at Israel they will launch a nuke at Iran and you get total planetary debt slavery either way. I mean we're already at total planetary debt slavery just now with some mass famine and refugees.

it's reasonable to conclude our naval defensive umbrella is a lot better than our land based defensive umbrella
see: lincoln missile swarm
see also: no ships sunk during aspides
also, the land based targets were multiple square mile, target rich environments. hitting "something" on a US base is a lot easier than hitting a moving ship with an active naval defense umbrella

obviously not.
I proved that our ships can survive the type of combat they are likely to face when we seize the strait of hormuz.
if "te [sic] Red Sea was opened" then I proved that our ships can survive the type of combat they are likely to face when we seize the strait of hormuz.
if "te [sic] Red Sea wasn't opened" then I still proved that our ships can survive the type of combat they are likely to face when we seize the strait of hormuz.
therefore your response (posted 30 times now you autistic loser) was a fallacious strawman: an attack on an argument that I did not make.
you have managed to act like a kike for hours. prove that you are not a kike by responding to my actual argument instead of repeating your strawman.

this is a guess, not an established fact. and it's a bad guess. based on the success of our naval defensive umbrella it's likely that we can do escorts, and I think we will after we seize the strait.

Nah, some words had a silent "s" disappear. "Island" in French is a good example, some use "isle" and sometimes "île", Ghislaine coukd've totally been pronounced with a silent "S". From memory there's a bunch of other French words, mostly city names that Americans make silent letters spoken, especially if a word ends with "s"
