The drink contains sodium benzoate.
>>
>>532847605
is there any moral justification for that, or just blatantly protecting the cow leather industry?
>>
>>532847684
The drink is also cursed.
>>

It causes cancer.

I had that on a work trip to Brazil and forgot about it until I saw it for sale recently. Way better than the new energy drinks.

It's boiling when they pour it in there. Plus the plastic naturally contaminates the contents, especially if it's acidic

>Prop 65 in California

Basically if a product or where the product is produced from *can potentially* cause cancer or reproductive harm. Companies are required to say it can and most slap the label to avoid lawsuits. It’s fucking stupid since basically anything can cause cancer or reproductive harm from overuse over time or the packaging could have factory related issue with it.

>>532848139

There's petroleum in every single supplement
>I don't use supplements
Supplements are added to milk, cereal, bread, flour, salt, sometimes even sugar. Artificial vitamins are made from waste byproducts and petroleum through complex chemical processes.

So like it or not if you eat anything that is "fortified" in any way you're eating petroleum byproducts.

But we're not really hunting them to extinction.
We have to cull their populations so they don't grow too big.

If anything, we don't really know what to do with them.
Kangaroo meat is not great (it's mostly used for dog food here, although you can certainly buy kangaroo meat for human consumption too). And the leather is not as nice as cow leather, but it's still fine.

you have no idea what you're talking about. Also petroleum products aren't inherently bad.

>go to gun store in California
>want to buy ammo
>need a real ID
>need a gun registered to the address you live at
>need to photocopy your ID and mark down exactly how much ammo was bought from where at what time by who
>tell them I had no idea my gun was even registered to my address
>it's new apparently
>can't buy ammo now
Was I just supposed to lie? What the fuck is this shit. All these laws accomplished was stopping a law-abiding guy telling the truth. But I guess that's the purpose of these laws, making sure I don't buy anything. So it worked. Guess I'm just supposed to lie to them next time.

In California, the person arrested in domestic violence cases is the "dominant aggressor" rather than the initial aggressor. So a woman can hit you, but if you hit her back and cause any sort of marking, you are deemed the dominant aggressor and get taken to jail and convicted.
>source: CA Penal Code 13701(b)

Also, rape is not based on any lack of consent or resistance. The text literally reads
>"The essential guilt of rape consists in the outrage to the person and feelings of the victim of the rape."
So if a woman feels like you raped her, even after the fact, you are guilty of rape.
>source: CA Penal Code 263

And yes this is how they are actually charged and convicted on. I work in the legal system here and it's fucking bullshit. Any accusation gives probable cause for your arrest, and there's citizen's arrest which is an even bigger pile of bullshit. Any person can arrest you cant claim you committed a crime, and an officer must respond and arrest you. If they refuse, they can be charged with a felony. So in this retarded ass state, anyone can accuse you of a crime and even arrest you, using force (though it must be reasonable) and you go to jail. How fucking ridiculous. It's literally a clown show here.
