I wanted to make a trail leading up to the trail I was working on and the Forest Service wanted so many permits and nonsense I gave up. Then a local trail club said "The State's right of way is a 1/4 mile down, just do it there, they don't care" Pic related is the actual trail. It's just another nightmare government agency.
