Literally what is even the point anymore? I can work my ass off and get the perfect job and finally afford a home to raise a small family. And yet all that work will never produce a community. It will never change the fact that I'm living in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do and around people who I don't even know and who don't know me. And it will never change the fact that my entire life is built around jewish scams that require my money in perpetuity.
So go live in a city. Your problems are fake.

I live in the suburbs. We apply for permits to shut down the street in front of block once every few months and have a neighborhood fair. Set up beanbag toss, horseshoe, badmitton, and table games for the kids. Wives bring out their harvest from the garden. Dads organize everything. Between those gatherings, our kids run around together or do sleepovers and we have alot of dinner parties. It's mentally exhausting to keep up with everyone's gossip and daily lives. I don't know how people back then did it. Maybe I'm just not good at socializing.

If you make a great income, the Pacific northwest is amazing to live in. If your poor in the PNW your gonna struggle a lot. I recommend getting a union trade job in WA state or HVAC since those are big industries there.

Theres also very rich and affluent parts of the US that are very nice to live in.

Like I was saying in the OP, even if I worked hard enough to buy my own house in a nice area, what does that get me? An overpriced piece of cardboard with a bunch of soulless neighbors who could never be called a community. When nearly everyone can no longer afford to buy their own home, it doen't make the prospect of owning a home feel like a prize. It's just a "fuck you, I got mine" award at that point. And the likelihood of your children owning their own home will be even lower. This board can tell I'm wrong all you want and say it's actually based to live offgrid and be alone but that will never change the fact that humans want real connection and want to live around likeminded people who feel like a large part of their lives. Having a mother, father, brother, and sister who live an hour away and a wife and two kids to raise by yourselves and a few superficial friends is not enough. It's not enough.

We get world class entertainment, best opera in the USA, beautiful architecture, monthly balls, I have my boat at a yacht club that was once frequented by US presidents and foreign royalty. I do my work outs there. We have the largest museum in the United States. I also have a 3200 square feet historic home.
