Does Elon Musk and his electric cars gain on the current oil crisis?
>>532862951Are batteries and plastics shaped or transported without fossil fuels ?
>>532862951Electricity is produced from fossil fuels
>>532862951I own some Tesla stock and it’s been down the last month.
>>532862989>>532862995Idk man, that's why I'm asking
>>532862951If Americans could steel some Nuclear powerplant from Iran then...maybe!!!If he own some oil giant shares Then temporarily YesBut all his wheeled and legged toys run on electricity so .... probably not much because there is already lack of electricity in USA to run his datacenters!!!I do not think he earn much!!!
>>532862951I hate Elon. He is a illegals nigger. But the second he destroyed the ev market and helped destroy renewables in America i started to get my life on solar and batteries. If electric cars already existed and someone invented the combustion engine they would literally call him retarded and throw away his work>>I added 4 more fluids you need>>Its produces toxic fumes, don't park it indoors>>We added a filter for the poison>>Its going to rust out and eventually something will pop and break but it goes a extra 100 miles a day?Meanwhile you can just set a solar panel on top of your ev and charge it while your fat ass is at work or home.Absolute retardation
>>532862951It's China's electric cars now. Americans have no saying in this.
>>532862951not unless they start subsidiseing him againthe electric cars are probably a great future idea but unless we mass adopt good renewable energy systems its just oil with extra step'sbtw nuclear fags need to rope themselfs name two people you trust in the operation of a nuclear planthave you ever met anybody anywhere that could be reasonably expected to run private sector plantslets look at the potentials here>chip fab' owner'sthey are buisy though compitent enough and considerd a global strategic resource.....>pharma conglomeratesthey have the ability and the willthey are also a leading example in exactly why we cant have nice thing's like nuclear powerEVEN if the bullshit about it is true"life long nuclear scientest says nuclear is actually the best thing ever"im sure and can he describe the interests funding and accounting of the waste sector that was outsourced or the lobbying connections and municiple fine's at the political level"theres no waste its all safe"ok ur an iddiot nextAuto manufacturor's the military nasawho is going to run this shit the "corupption" is all well and good when its massively subversing the everyman and makeing peoples lives harderbut what happens when it start's bankrupting natio--ohhh imagine the 2008 financial crisis but instead of banking its nuclear reactor's nuclear should be a stable 10-15% thats it heavily regulated and monitored even if we had a perfect philosipher king to run the plants that bumps up to what 25% 30%? short answer no not at all all his electricity comes from oil
>>532862951Maybe in USA markets. Driving a tesla in Europe is kinda embarrassing now.
>>532863791just because fuck nuclear think of nuclear as a retarded battery we have steady state main lines beamed directly at us and we are trying to make retard battery's
>>532862951No, because all of his power costs go up and people dont have spare money anyway
>>532864055>>532864055imagine useing geo thermal insteadso you like drill a big hole then you pour water into the big holethe big hole heats the water and ejects steam from a connected shaft that powers turbines then the harmless steam condenses and creates rainyfw eveybody likes holeseverybody likes waterwhy are we not useing big holes to power our steam punk dystopia
>>532862951Tesla would be "gaining" but like >>532863011points out the stock is down and sales are down. This is mostly because Tesla lost the subsidies as >>532863791pointed out then Tesla proceeded to bet everything on Robotaxi which has been a disaster. It turns out Tesla can't actually do unsupervised FSD legally and changing that was probably a big part of why Elon was in government last year. >>532863510>added 4 more fluidsTeslas have oil and coolant.
>>532863633>>532863933Chinese vehicles are banned in the US and we buy over 15 million new vehicles per year.
>>532864204Not even joking For what?AntifreezeGasoline?
>>532864194"Her fate was sealed by the marriage arrangement made in her youth" illustrates an inevitable outcome. 1"By an odd quirk of fate, we ended up on the same train" shows fate as a coincidental or guiding force. 1"He faced a grim fate if he was sent back to his own country" emphasizes a negative or unavoidable consequencelook at the useage in sentances compared to the definition why does google not know what fate is....Fate refers to the predetermined course of events or outcomes, often seen as inevitable, especially in relation to a person’s life or destiny.Definition and NuancesFate is the concept that certain events or outcomes are predetermined and unavoidableits all past tense for a reason you will win if it is your fateyou will win it is your destiny insane btw the fact that all the examples follow a rule that it does not even talk about and it enforces an ambiguity that does not exist
>>532864969Oil for gearbox lubrication and coolant + radiator to cool the batteries and motor.
>>532864204>>532864969Serious question..for what?I plan on getting a ev after my truck dies. 8 do construction but I never needed more than like a little Toyota praxis? Pixis? Those little Asian 3 wheeled trucks. The f150 eats gas like a mofo for what I use it for what it was available when I needed a car.I already know about cold conditions on ev batteries but what do they use oil and coolant for?You can also get rid of transmission fluidTransmission fluidGasolineOil (you said that's wrong)Antifreeze. I also heard their getting better about cold weather conditions by adding basically heating pads on the batteries or something.
>>532865086I assumed they'd be air cooled. Why does it have a gear box..it doesn't even shift?
>>532865222NevermindSingle speed would still need a gear box..my bad.
>>532865122If you can afford to buy an EV truck you can afford to put gas in an F-150.Yes the batteries in a Tesla must heat themselves to stay in their operational temperature range. It is part of the reason they lose so much driving range in cold weather.>>532865222Checked
>>532865222>I assumed they'd be air cooled. If the latest claimed battery breakthroughs up in fingolia are to be believed many electric vehicles may be air cooled going forward but with the current lithium ion and lithium iron phosphate chemistries active temperature management is a must for both safety and optimal efficiency. You already are going to want to water cool your motor so you do the pack too. His more recent models even use that coolant loop in conjunction with a heatpump for heating and cooling the interior and micromanaging heat transfer to and from the radiators and specific components to optimize efficiency/chargerate.
>>532862951Some broke guy driving a 1998 honda won't suddenly buy a Tesla just because gas prices increased.I bought an old used Nissan Leaf as a 2nd car though. Works fine, but you have to charge it daily.
>>532865298So I can't afford either. Otherwise I'd already have the ev and I'd stop buying gasoline during the gasoline crisis.I produce most of my own good and I'm not exactly drilling oil in my back yard. But there is sun.
>>532865428I'd never buy a Tesla.I'm talking Chinese EVs or I guess "south Korean" trans shipped ones.Or maybe someday I may get my little 3 wheeled tonka truck that trump promised. But right now all I need is to travel about 30-50 miles and be able to carry about 300-700lbs in tools. I play rimworld and watch YouTube all day and night off solar. My entire office is setup on solar.
>>532865434Na id buy a used ev and I'd try to find one with a salvaged title or with cosmetic damage or minor wreck damage.
>>532865578Yeah, that's smart! As long as the battery, electric motor(s) and whatever else are needed for driving are intact, the rest can be ducttaped together for all I care.
>>532863510>If electric cars already existed and someone invented the combustion engine they would literally call him retarded and throw away his work? The first mass-produced electric cars appeared in America in the early 1900s. In 1902, the Studebaker Automobile Company entered the automotive business with electric cars.[4] In 1900, 28 percent of the cars on the road in the US were electric. EVs were so popular that even President Woodrow Wilson and his secret service agents toured Washington, D.C., in their Milburn Light Electrics.[5] electric trucks were an established niche into the 1920s.[6][7][8]n the early 20th century, the high cost, low top speed, and short range of battery electric vehicles left them unable to compete with internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles for consumer use.See?It happened 120 years ago!!!
>>532865528>I'd never buy a Tesla. If you're seriously considering an EV it should be under consideration at the very least. Despite the issues they have especially with interior quality for the price, their drivetrain reliability and safety per mile is unmatched in the EV sphere. I can't overstate just how dogshit the software is in just about every single other EV brand on the market. I'm not saying Tesla has their shit on lock, just that nobody else is remotely competitive, that's how bad everyone else is. In my experience Hyundai's Ioniq line is the only real competitor but I've got a personal grudge against Hyundai/Kia that's probably nolonger rational at this point. I've driven a lot of EVs over the years and even today (as far as what's available in the US anyway) modern Teslas are like mid 2010s iphones to everyone else's pre 2010 android devices. Even the luxury brands have those problems. Rivian and Lucid have great hardware that's a chore to actually use because of how bad their software implementation is.I am intrigued by BYD and Zeekr and some of those other totallynotchinese brands but they're pushing such insane 3.5c+ chargerates into their regular lithium chemistry packs that I worry about both their safety and longterm pack longevity. I wouldn't touch those fuckin things for at least 3 or 4 years even if they started getting imported for a tolerable price.
>>532862951no. his company was never designed to make money, only grift off of the tesla name and gut nasa from the inside out. they cant even get to the moon anymore (if it ever happened)anyways, are you serious? like a serious question? because, no. nothing gains from this shit. you think these faggots getting replaced by ai are gonna afford cyberpunk cars? no, it's a transition to the next level of serfdom. you will buy ze ride to ze store to get ze bugs and buy another ride to go home and eat ze bugs.
>>532865879If electric cars were invented today and then someone invented the gasoline engine***There u go semantics kike.>>532865916 it would have to be a crazy good deal on it. I'm not into welfare or supporting foreign occupations of my country.Elon is usually a hard no go for me, same with anything Israeli. Which is a shame cause those Hebrew national hotdogs are killer. Not trying to get all political. But I'm just letting you know it has some dramatic hurdles before I'd consider a Tesla.I'd sooner buy another f150 honestly.
>>532865916The charge rate wouldn't matter cause I'd basically be trickle charging it off solar. I couldn't imagine if exceeding 1000watts.I only work maybe 2-3 days a week tops and usually not that much. If it was legal. I could probably live My entire life on a gator UTV. I work almost exclusively as a "charity" or for money to pay property tax.I'm a really simple guy, but I won't afraid of other cultures or technology..I'll use what works. And I'm telling you solar is working 10x better than a generator for my needs. If it wasn't for my water heater I'd be completely off grid. I heat with wood during the winter.
>>532867514Autocorrect is making me look retarded. I promise I'm not this retarded.
>>532862951Jeetlon's products are living bombs. If you want to die, yeah they're great
>>532865876That's how I feel about it I looked into ordering parts and building my own cheap ass willy. But by the time you get everything together and pay for tags and make it legal you might as well just buy a used sedan or Tacoma.
>>532862951The chinese ones do.>>532862995You can't run ICE car with coal. EV enable that. Which is why countries with major coal resources are into EV.>muh polluting coalWho fucking cares.
>>532862951Well, the world is basically run by oil, so directly or indirectly ''yes'' but he is probably spending more as well.
The orange nigger promised me mini trucks.I just want my mini truck.... Honestly. Bug since the nigger just lies I'll probably get a electric something.F150 is 2004 and falling apart. I got the muffler straight piped and it's at like 200k miles.Bought it in 2020 at like 150k miles. That's how little I drive.
>>532862995In third world countries like Poland, maybe. Civilized countries have moved on to nuclear + renewable.
>>532862951Elon Musk is a pedophile.
>>532862995My electricity is produced from the sun.>>532863510
>>532862995>fossil fuelsexcept we're in the age of nuclear power
>>532862951you tell me>>532858431
>>532867823And he received the most welfare of anyone in human history while be African. He has like 20 anchor babies he doesn't take care of. I got no idea why he is a right wing icon. He is literally the embodiment of a nigger.
>>532867793you asshole frog-fucker
>>532862951hmmmm I dunno, how is the electricity generated in the first place??
>>532862951No. Pretty much the only people who don't hate him at this point are miggers and they can't afford his cars.
>>532862951He probably loses profit from plastics being a byproduct of oil.
