At my work, my old boomer boss lady retired recently. If boss lady had her way, every single day would be one long zoom meeting from log-in to log-off. She would share her screen and make us watch her work, asking us to chime in if things "look good" every few moments. At times she demanded to be hand-held about how to move her mouse and what to type on the keyboard.
Now she is gone, the team is introverted and quiet. Meetings rarely go on longer than 5 mins. And the work still gets done just the same. I love it.
