go fucking land on the moon and start laying the groundwork for a moon base
>b-b-b-but we were just doing research!!
>it's a new rocket you know!1
fucking shit we supposedly 'landed on the moon' 60 years ago. i always believed we did, but now i'm questioning if we actually did. nasa is a fucking waste of money. just farm out everything to contractors.

i'm guessing the only reason nasa did this was to justify their budget.

the only thing they're good at is going to schools and handing out free nasa stickers.

Who asked?

How come they didn't bring anything to leave behind for the moonbase? Materials, food? Could left it in orbit even

me. do you only accept questions asked by jewish approved media sources?

they said they were doing 'research' but not sure what they were researching. seems like the only thing they were doing was taking pics for instagram.
>>

If you're so smart, why haven't you gone to the moon?
>>
>>532898331
We landed 60 years ago and then dropped the project so long every single person who worked on it for NASA, every single contractor who supplied parts for it and the people that worked for that contractor are dead and gone.

It's basically a fresh start after this much time.

I mean are these people for fucking real???

Seriously.
Think about that.
A 1 million dollar bag of Compact Flash..

So do you think new planes shouldn't go through test flights before using them for real? Just asking. They did find problems by the way.
>>

they found out that drains is hard job

all the people responsible for sending you to the moon were nazis. you know what you need to do if you want to go back.
>>
>>532898418
Generally speaking, when some limp wristed faggot says this shit, they're the one prompting the information.
I'm sorry it causes you pain to be provided proof of your retardation.
Wait. No I'm not. Go fuck yourself.

You have to walk before you can run. The first time we went there were SEVERAL missions. First one unmanned, then manned, then land. And so on.

>The first time we went there were SEVERAL missions
That's an understatement

Mercury did:
- 20 unmanned or animal missions
- 6 crewed missions
Gemini did:
- 2 initial uncrewed test missions
- 7 unmanned target vehicles
- 10 crewed missions
AS201 - unmanned crew capsule
AS202 - unmanned crew capsule
AS203 - verified the SIV-B can be reignited in space
AS501 - uncrewed Saturn V rocket and tested the staging, plus measure Van Allen Belt radiation
Apollo 5 - unmanned tested LEM ascent and descent module, plus simulated descent abort (and one of the greatest mission patches ever)
Apollo 6 - unmanned test to go beyond lunar orbit, but staging failed
Apollo 7 - manned mission of 11 days in LEO, and docking practice
Apollo 8 - 10 orbits of the Moon
Apollo 9 - docking of Service Module and LEM in LEO, plus more LEM testing and an EVA test for if the tunnel became unusable
Apollo 10 - Full "dress rehearsal" including LEM descending to 50,000 feet above the Moon surface

>So do you think new planes shouldn't go through test flights before using them for real?
everything goes through testing. fucking the newest taco from taco bell goes through testing. fucking rockets are on a different level though and everything should have been thoroughly tested. sending astronauts up for a joyride around the moon is ridiculous. just go fucking land on the moon. we did it before, right?
