That was right after he told us in 9:26 that the Gentiles are mainly God's people now, after having earlier in Romans Chapters 3 and 4 defined God's people now as only those who have belief in Jesus Christ.

Paul, like Jesus, Moses, David, Abraham and the majority of people you find in those books is a fictional character. There is no historical or archeological of any of those people existing. These are jewish fairy tales.
