It seems to be a black box that enables europeans to channel their inner football hooligan and target the other team. Trying to reason with such powerful emotions is absurd. It is amazing that in the way that european posters react and discuss the conflict you can readily understand how tens of millions of them were slaughtered during the mid 20th century. From the dehumanization of the enemy to the ready suspicion that anyone who does not engage in that behavior is a spy. I am talking of both sides of course.
