Thinking about moving to a LCOL state?Well, I grew up and live in one, and am so tired of people thinking everything is great because it's cheap. I'm literally in the biggest city in the state, and it seems it's even rougher in the smaller cities. You'll be permanently stuck if you don't have a degree in Engineering, Tech, Nursing or have a degree of some type here. All of these jobs here, yet most of them professional, and the basic jobs pay you like $13.And you better have a way to get there. If you don't have a car you're cooked, because public transportation is ass. There are 0 walkable cities in my state. It's almost like they want you to get hit by a car just to get to the nearest bus stop that's 15 minutes away from where you are.We have Lyft and Uber, but that will eat at the money you don't have. 211 is useless; the resources just aren't there. People where I live love saying this is a growing state/city... yeah, for those with money. Most people can't survive out here.Don't let the articles fool you, these states have 0 resources for the people in need. I lost my Medicaid last year, reapplied and was denied, and my income was almost nothing at the time. I'm so exhausted with not being able to afford to live or leave this state. The only good thing I'll say about here is that they always have room in the shelter unlike major cities. It's safer to be out on the streets here due to low crime rates, and it's easy to find a job also has beautiful scenery with nice weather. But the thing is, they don't help you past giving you a bed for the night.Low cost of living states just aren't the way. If you live in a major city with resources, stay put, because it won't get better living somewhere like the South. You will legit be trapped.
>>533326153The entirety of America is in steep decline. You can't move somewhere else to change that. With this in mind, live wherever your quality of life is good.
>>533326153I am not reading all of that. I was born and raised in New Hampshire and have no intent of leaving.
humans shouldnt have to pay tolls to livethis paradise of earth was just turned into a giant (((toll booth)))and they tell us all kinds of bizarre stories to justify it>HE DESERVES TO SUFFER HE BAD>ECONOMY PERFECT SORTING MACHINE>EVERYONE GETS WHAT THEY DESERVEits a bizarre experience to be alive in this societyand be able to question your surroundings (this is disabled through socialization)so just stop and take a moment to think about how bizarrethis life is, you must fund the lives of (((toll booth owners)))you are a human resource not a unique divine expression of creationjust really let that thought penetrate for a second
>>533326535>>533326153Things will never change until the intelligence agencies, underground military-industrial-complex lairs and defense contractor facilities are stormed and the glowniggers and parasites who work there are executed and the data they collect is leaked to the public so that the rest of these government assets, zogbots, mercenaries, glorified jannies and authority figures can be hunted down and exterminated.
they are usually low cost because there is no jobs and if you try to bring your remote job, the job gets their panties in a twist about needing you to be able to come to the office for… uhhh… paperwork, usually that the best excuse they can come up with. oh whoops that job was just given to jeets who are going to ask AI how to do anything until eventually the AI just automates whatever the job was… oh no did the company just go under before that because whatever service they offered declined so fast any customer base gave up and stopped buying. but hey, at least you live in a low cost run down town, with a fixer upper house, no women except maybe some fat cows with mixed children crying at their heels, even the teens are fat somehow in the sticks. would you like your walmart vest now or later? all you gotta do is say “welcome to walmart” to the fatfucks meandering in slackjawed and flat footed
I can have more fun in a muslim country than America. Rural retards are real. Fuck the ageism, fuck that boring ass suburban ass segregated safespace place full of dykes. Is there even anywhere good to be and anyone cool to spontaneously interact with or have sex with? Doubt it. Bunch of fucking hags and dykes and simps hiding the good stuff and McFats around every corner. Holy fuck I just reminded myself I'm tied to an automobile I will need to go back and refuel, too. Shit sucks.
>>533326453Good luck finding a girlfriend in New Hampshire lmao.
>>533326153Lemme guess, you're around 19 years old and spent most of high school playing video games, and you expect a "living wage" to do some kind of easy part time job?
Healthcare is ridiculous in the USA, I come from a tax-payer funded medical system and one clear benefit is it allows you the freedom to accept a job offer anywhere in country without worrying about the 6 month lag of not having healthcare. Sorry you are getting fucked over, but that's Neo-Lib bullshit, be it left or right in control.I moved in-state from a poor, low employment city to a bigger city/area with more opportunities and my life improved. Yeah money was still tight, but there were things to see and do, better food choices and interesting people to meet. Good luck bro and thanks for taking the time to make a real thread.
>>533326902Can you as of 2026 though? Pretty much the entire Arab peninsula is now a no-go zone.Malaysia and Indonesia I heard are pretty fun. Probably more so than the Indian subcontinent lol.
>>533327645That was a hyperbole. Stay in your cuckshed. I'm sure you have a lot of ex's and a mortgage and life is great.
>>533326453At least he provided adequate spacing between each sentence.
>>533326153Why are you reposting a reddit post on 4chan? Are you a bot?
>>533326153With a car you can go anywhere you want
>>533327803likely. who creates a random thread like this? why does he care where we live? he didn't move, so what spurred the thought? he didn't even name the state
>>533326783>the job gets their panties in a twist about needing you to be able to come to the office for… uhhh… paperworkThey call it "collaboration" where I work. They think they're a world class organization so when Microsoft made people return to work, we, as a player in that league, did the same because that's what great organizations do.Here's where it gets hilarious - this only applies to 2-300 cubicle drones who work in the office building in the shit part of downtown (I work in operations so nothing changes for me). The first week of March 2020 is when COVID "hit" and by mid-March, they made the "carefully considered" decision to give up our office space downtown, so the cubicle drones worked from home for 5+ years. Now they return - not to cubicles, but to "colllaborative spaces" like the typing pools of the 1960s, almost literally pic related.
>>533327918And park in a stripmall or the side of a highway! Does Starbucks still have free wifi?
>>533326153thanks for the post claude
>>533327382>tax-payer funded medical system and one clear benefit is it allows you the freedom to accept a job offer anywhere in country without worrying about the 6 month lag of not having healthcareWhat difference would that make? Another clear benefit of socialized health care is that it takes six months to see a doctor anyway.
>>533328156If you really wanna know, it's South Carolina.
