are any of you high iq enough to tell me the real reason that it is frowned upon to "defend yourself" in court instead of having a lawyer? not just frowned upon by judges, other legal people, but also the media and popular culture itself. i sense a hidden agenda here but i can't pinpoint it, it certainly isn't the reason they claim ("because you won't be able to defend yourself properly and will be found guilty!") because since when has judges/prosecutors/lawyers ever gave a fuck if the defendant is found guilty? they get kickbacks for having a high incarceration rate.

The judge/jury/prosecutor should in theory be willing to take time and guide you through the process, but in practicality they're all behind on their caseload and stopping to explain everything wastes so much time and they'd rather you just fucking paid for someone who knows what to say and when. The average person has no idea how laws and the legal system works. The kikes took over law schools about 100 years ago and law schools don't teach law as much a process. Prosecutors are the scum of the earth. They will do anything to get a win. Much of what the system does is collect revenue. Where do you think those heafty fines go? It is in the court's interest to find you guilty.The legal system is tied to the for-profit prison system. Lawyers are shit. Even if you pay one they would rather not do the work. They would rather make deals and 'get you off' with reduced sentance or fines. Best thing to do is stay out of court. Next best is to find a lawyer who will keep you out of court. There are ways to beat them without stepping in to court without a lawyer, but it takes serious time to learn.
