I am literally a first gen american with a canadian family. Any Canadian that isnt a loser and has any skills immediately moves to the US for a massive bump in lifestyle. Not being a loser in canada only gets you penalized into hell.

We're bleeding jobs and talent like never before. Everything is hyperinflated and you would need to be a $100k+ earner to live below the means of someone on min wage in the states, oh and then you're being taxed 50% of that on top of it, so make it $200k and you can live in an apartment and afford 3 meals a day. By the way you will never retire, let alone own a home.
