TV sats, for example, are usually in GEO which is very far away and unlikely to be bothered by shit happening in LEO. GPS sats are a bit closer than those, about 20000km, and so again, a problem in LEO isn't going to bother them.but, in the worst case, sure, LEO could possible be difficult to bypass..but not for very long, which is what OP was claiming. and really, even making LEO hard to get past would take a truly huge amount of stuff being up there and in all orbital inclinations. its incredibly unlikely.
