Could he technically run for president of the USA in 2028?
>>
#OneNationUnderGod
ONUG!
>>
>>533410209
If he doesnt run on remigrating 100% of all non-whites and jews from all western nations then no one will vote for him. Except a few nignogs of course
>>
no, I don't think religious figures can run for elective offices in modern democracies, it's an old rule from nineteenth century secularism.
I'm fairly sure in my nation a priest can't even be mayor of a small town
>>
>>533410209
With the Papacy in his rearview Chicago Bob eyes the Presidency but will he have the votes?

In my article I discuss the possibility
>>
>>533410349
>modern democracies
USA democracy is in no sense modern
>>
>>533410209
a good question worth thinking about.
I think he is disqualified by not having lived in the US for the past 14 years
His US citizenship is now even in question as he's a foreign head of state. Pic related says the state department has declined to comment on his status.
so it seems very unlikely
but I'm in favor of clergy, specifically Catholic clergy running for office.
>>
>>533410209
>president of the USA
Any real religious person will laugh at this thought today, tomorrow and the day after.
>>
>>533410349
Pastors and ministers run for congress all the time here and in America. We have had priests in congress as well, but protestants are much more likely to mix religion and politics.
>>
>>533410209
He would have to step down as pope first.
>>
>>533410461
yes it is, modernity is 400 years old by now, it lines up
>>
>>533410209
Theoretically, with the consent of Congress. There's also the question of whether he "accepted" the title or if having it prior to his election counts.
>>
Having a religious figures tied to and running for secular political movements always speedruns a religion's implosion when the winds shift
>>
>>533410209
So I had to look this up. He is prohibited by 1983 RCC canon law (although he can ignore that because the pope can do whatever he wants) from holding political office. It's the church blocking him, not the US constitution.
I think >>533410478 is right though, he has been in Peru for a long time and subsequently the Vatican City, and hasn't been resident in the US for 14 years as the constitution requires
>>
>>533410209
foreign dignitaries are prohibited from political office without the consent of the senate. hed have to stop being monarch of vatican city first
>>
>>533410209
What's the difference between a corrupt politician and a corrupt priest? They get rich off the masses.
>>
>>533410209
As a US citizen he is eligible, but being the leader of a foreign country would disqualify him.
>>
>>533410209
No, he's already a Head of a sovereign State.

he's already got a lifetime job and financial security.
>>
>>533410828
Politicians confiscate your money by force. Priests only ask for donations.
>>
>>533410831
>>533410838
just make the Vatican the 51st state
>>
>>533410893
Pretty sure most of the church’s income come from real estate, not voluntary donations.
>>
>>533410729
obama was a religious leader of wokeness, trump is a religious leader of israelism, romney was a religious leader of managerialism
>>
>>533410978
Well you should probably put down your meth pipe and go back inside your favella then

Pope nigger cultists subvert any nation that tolerates them. Potato niggers and spaghetti niggers are the worst Pope nigger lovers.

They tell you that you are going to Hell if you don't.
>>
>>533410209
Then he will have to sell his soul to AIPAC and the fake israel
>>
>>533410349
That's because kings used to be leaders of armies. Liberals replaced that and now your leaders are kike traders avoiding military service, even women.
Ancestors are crying.

The pope would have to give up his Vatican citizenship
>>
>>533410618
is there a rule or law on that?

because he meets the criteria as far as age and he's a citizen, so..
>>
>>533410209
He should've been stripped of citizenship upon becoming a foreign monarch

If he steps down as Pope I will vote for him as president. Until then I have to vote for Tucker Carlson, or Dr Taylor Marshall

>by not having lived in the US for the past 14 years
yup. just googling "who can be president" first result is the us federal government website that quotes the constitution
>natural born citizen
>35 years of age
>resident of the US for 14 years
current pope lived in rome from 2001-2015, then was a bishop in peru until 2023, then went back to rome as a cardinal. 25 years since he's been an american resident
