I used Copilot (at work, I have no choice, I have to "find use cases" for AI per management) to format a SQL query for me because I was being lazy. It hallucinated and gave me nonsense from this extremely simple task. Thankfully I knew what the output was supposed to be. But plenty of retarded people are going to use AI as the excuse to not actually learn how to do anything, and they will use hallucinations in production environments because they don't know what they are actually trying to do in the first place.

Bro it happens literally every single day here in NY. Judges are at the point where they can identify AI writing by eye and then they will spend the rest of their time on your motion trying to prove it so they can BTFO you
>>
The only jobs are those with a license given by the State (or a board associated with the State in the US). Doctor, lawyer, dentist, senior civil servant (in Europe), judge, notary ...

It's stupid to say AI will kill lawyers. A lawyer is needed to sign the paper, submit them to court and negociate in your behalf, which is legal extorsion (if you do it you go to jail for blackmail).

So even if the AI can write all the briefs etc. you need one to go through the motions.

Even finance professionals are not going to disappear. You need an IB banker for any kind of transactions. And junior bankers cost nothing.

ai slop has been shoved down people’s throats for 4 years now, yet there are 0 companies that provide services built with ai, so effectively it’s just a novelty chat bot, questionable search engine, and extremely expensive scripting language for direct usage by consumers and not some magical technology that can be used to replace human expertise. it’s over, “agi” will not be achieved, llm improvements are getting ever more miniscule, it’s still too expensive even with current “cheap” pricing based on delusions that it will improve exponentially, all the hyping has already transitioned from how close “agi” is to just integrating it with other technologies. Just as computer graphics peaked 10+ years ago and going from 4k to 16k resolution, from 5 million polygons to 50 million, from 120fps to 360fps doesn’t make that much of a difference for the resources required to do it, the same way has ai also peaked and you won’t see any significant improvements anymore. And at its current state it’s just not good enough to justify the cost and all of the investment, so it’s far more likely that anthropic will be wiped out in 1-5 years instead of the doom and gloom this jew boy and his sister are selling
>>
Poopus 4.7 is a downgrade. Mythos is prohibitively expensive (more per hour than a senior engineer) and based on the marketing, is about as good at finding vulnerabilities as a small open weights model. GPT remains dogshit while OpenAI burns infinite investor moneys. I think we’re fast approaching the limits of LLM utility. Current tech has the capability to some bottom-tier tech white collar workers who weren’t producing value in the first place, but until another breakthrough happens it’s going to become more expensive and more exclusive

The thing is that the middle class has been at war with other power centers : the professional old regime class (doctors etc.), the migrant class, the elite class and the public sector class.

AI is just another weapon. What will happen is that it will evolve over the long-term. Everyone with a high IQ will become a doctor. I see it with my own family the next generation is trained from birth to become doctors vs. shitty private sector jobs. Then companies will have only low IQ ppl and will have make conditions better.

AI in itself is utterly indifferent since society is a zero-sum game pyramid.
>>
AI is coming, and its a revolution. There's all sorts of desk goy jobs that AI steals/will steal. Soon all technical work like coding, legal analysis, scientific research, engineering calculations will all be subsumed by AI contracting their AI out. The only jobs AI cant steal are the ones we currently are trying to automate, operators, maintenance technicians, labrats, and anything involving menial labor. South park unironically got it right.

If I don't "have a job" it's because our staff and a bunch of AI are doing my job for me. I'll still have the money the business makes, whether it's humans or AIs. I'll still have to attend meetings, sign paperwork and perform other administrative tasks.
Our 2026 revenue is up 40% YTD without increasing headcount. Just better AI tools. More efficiency. It's a decent business, but probably has a modest ceiling, so I won't be the wealthiest guy around. I feel bad for what's coming, for anyone who isn't an owner. I'm sitting in the same crazy system as everyone else, but was lucky enough to have made the jump to ownership year ago. I don't know how anyone could stop what's coming, but at least I won't be part of the permanent college-educated underclass.

I hope so, for their sake.
If you're concerned about a glut in new labor supply, consider that care industries (especially) are hotspots of Baumol's Cost Disease. Even increased labor supply probably has a higher wage floor in those industries than for law clerks and junior software engineers, where the 95% of those jobs disappear entirely.
I am pretty concerned in the 5-15 year medium-term. Sure, my senior staff can do their roles as well (or better) with $30k/year in AI tools than if I hired junior staff to work under them for $300k/yr. That's great, for now.
But they became senior staff in the first place by grinding it out as juniors themselves. Who replaces them as they retire? How does anyone get into a role that gets them the experience anymore? It's quite daunting to think about.
In the 1-5 timeframe, it's all upside.
In 5-15 years there's going to be a reckoning.

I asked it to write one and it gave me the worst trash you have every seen. The code was fine, but the sentences it created made no sense. Again, this is what LLMs actually do; they create natural language from input. I could sit there asking it to tweak it all day, but at some point, it does become easier to do it yourself.

>they believe the layoff hoax
5% of layoffs in 2025 were attributed to AI efficiency, yet studies have shown no reliable increases in efficiency due to AI. New York requires companies to disclose if their layoffs are due to "technological innovation" and yet none of the companies claiming they're firing for AI have disclosed this in legal documents. Just saying you're laying people off for AI efficiency (or rebranding yourself from a failing shoe company to an AI company) is enough to pump your stock price.

Right now AI is only a convenient excuse and a buzzword to get millions of investor dollars. If it manifests in job losses in the coming years, it's probably going to be in rote tasks. Early adopters are going to get their spines broken when the money hose tapers and AI companies have to raise costs to actually be profitable.

Never going to happen. AI has already peaked. The problem these companies have is the training data. The more AI generated content there is, the lower the quality of training data becomes. It's akin to inbreeding in humans. The errors will amplify themselves over time with every new model. With no humans doing the work there will be no new good data, only bad data. The rate of errors will increase exponentially.

That isn't the only problem they have either. Any AI model good enough to replace all those people effectively will make every company obsolete. What service can they offer if anyone could just spend a few tokens and create the exact same thing themselves? Purely AI generated code isn't copyrighted. There's no ip protection. All of their output becomes worthless and piracy is no longer illegal. If there's mass unemployment then they also won't even have a customer base to sell their products to.

The final nail for AI is that they're all operating at a massive loss right now. They're trying to hook users with extremely low costs and build a dependency on their services. At some point token prices are going to skyrocket. This will cause a vast majority of businesses to just go out of business because operational costs will be higher than any of them can afford.

AI is a massive bubble. The economic downturn that will happen when it pops is going to be bigger than any that has come before it. Ultimately it will result in a consolidation of wealth and services to 1-2 global companies. We will live under a global corporate oligarchy. These 1-2 companies will be the government.

Yes
Ai idolatry will coincide with mark of the beast financial singulairty as well as the image of the beast that idolators currently worship rudimentary forns of
Already in its infancy; one can readily observe the ai function as a divination as well as idol generator on demand
The exponential growth of itself and investment into it is also a strong delusion
You only really need to compound maths as a fundamental interface within the internet of bodies, build the infrastructure and it begins to make more sense: each person's software interacting as a separate node and unique id signatory
And just like jelly beans for a funvaxx, the mark of the beast for participation in the economic singularity will be the ultimate blasphemy: mammon standa where God Ought to be within your bodily temple, the Spirit of God is blasphemed, and the adoptor of the mark of the beast is damned to hellfire
And globohono basically shills these econonic systems and is programming the masses with cashless interdependency
Again with brute force manufactured consensus under the plandemic era; people lined up in droves then, as much as they will for the mark of the beast under such false pretenses as
>muh mortgages
But rather, without the bellygods; and away in the wilderness of the people, there is manna, Hope, and springwater
Just like with moses
So too with the children of israel scattered abroad for the Greater Redemption of all of Israel

Exactly. AI is fine if you are already a subject matter expert and can double check. It's wrong more and more with each new update

Funny thing is they thought AI would wipe out blue collar jobs when in fact all it does is wipe out white collar pretend jobs.

I currently have a job that's pretty secure with a bit above modal salary. I can get a promotion to get a job analyzing the performance of the organization and advising management. It pays really well. But I feel it's exactly something that can be done with AI.

You still need a human to do a quick check the AI did the job correctly.
