Easily twice in Canada. You should see the beef section in the meat aisle at the grocery stores here in Canada. It's like three feet wide, two shelves high and mostly full of hamburger. I don't even know what they do with the rest of it. Nobody is buying steak for $40 a pound. To the point, you can't buy it even if you wanted it. It's just not there.

I don't know how many millions of acres of land we have here fit for cattle grazing. The stuff should be next to free. The farmers are getting 75 cents a pound on the hoof. Somewhere along the line 75 cents is being turned into $40, and I have seen no explanation as to why or how. Somebody is just plain fucking us.
