Simply put, if no one else wants to buy bonds when federal reserve printing is needed then the US government will borrow money to buy the bonds which they can just give an IOU to the federal reserve to add a few trillion to the debt. But this action combined with low rates is what caused the 9% (under reported official government number) inflation under Biden. The dollar was already worth more back then, and today I see 20 ounce cokes going for around 3.50 after tax. And that amount isn't accounting for inflation. My rent and utilities set me back between 1700 and 2 grand a month, to live in a junky infested hellscape. I see people listing smaller places in worse areas near us for 2k+ a month just for rent, no utilities, and 50 per pet "pet rent" when they allow pets at all. Some places won't allow families with kids, or charge at least 100 per kid as additional rent. I live in the south near the east coast, it's much worse in the more pozzed commie-infested states. No man should have to work 6 days a week 18 hours a day just to support his family, but that's common here.

I worked a warehouse job briefly. 15 an hour and we clocked in at 4 pm and left once every truck was stocked up. I'd head home at 8 or 9 am pretty often and that was bad enough when working mandatory overtime.
