>>533434981In Hollywood movies
>>533434981This movie takes place in the early 20th century, not the late 19th, and it's basically Plainview's defining character trait that he's completely empty inside
>>533435234Standard Oil gained prominence around 1880, which was the time this movie took place so i think using "late 1800s" is correct
LOL America has never had any grace or self-esteem. They're fucking plunderers, murderers and thieves.
People in the late 1800's didn't have grace it is just common, everyday English had a slightly different vocabulary, profanity, slang and idiom, and fashion was different. Dressing all in black like that was just formal wear, similar to tuxedo today
>>533435663Their grace disappeared as they became less and less European. What culture or roots do they have now? Murdering Indians? Marvel movies? McDonald? Let me laugh.
>>533435663Good, tell all your friends and family.
>>533435309Yea, but jews love to distort shit since normies get history from movies
