I am buddhist. Abrahamics never really spoke to me. I was atheist for a long time, until i realised spirituality is a part of humanity.
When i pray, it is more of an act of alignment of body and desire. I do not want to take anyones faith away, as i cant think of something more sad to do to a man.
>>
>>533444854
you cant do that unless he lets you dont you study karma and iccha, will? whatever. why did you choose a path without cultural background for you or are you born buddhist chinese immigrant parents.
>>
>>533444922
My family is catholic on one side, protestant on the other. Neither are very active in their faith. I am a member of a tibetan buddhist temple.
As far as karma goes: i see it as a cause and effect, not a divine punishment or reward. Idk what icca means. My prayer group prays for noble conduct, world peace, and personal well being
>>
>>533445071
i hate buddhism even more than i hate the pope. almost if it wasnt so deep in real buddhist countries like tibet or nepal. whatever though enjoy your temple i guess.

>why did you choose a path without...
I dabbled in many faiths when i was younger. I read several holy books. The four vedas, the buddhapada, the orthodox study bible, the black bible. I even looked into what the new age movement calls "paganism". But buddhism always seemed the most in line with my own experience

last thing, any views on god?
>>
Tradcaths tend to be in it for the aesthetics. Which is why so many of them convert and then get pissed when they're expected to be in the popes corner all the time
>>

>larper like tradcath catholixdix?
>uh you're not even REAL Christians
Funny how a little mexican mindbroke kikes and gaytheist liberal koshernazis on the internet.

I like the view the hindus have: we cannot create a god that is not a reflection of gods true form.
I dont know if there is a god. But i do not think that god is very active in this world. Perhaps the universe is god, but that would make us all part of god ourselves. I have not found a description of god that seems to be wholly accurate to reality
>>
>>533445360
i personally you think in the rational god, not necessarily that there is no god. most are like this. consciously we cant direct in one instant our inner beliefs this or that way. it needs guidance or inspiration. thoughts on my analysis?
>>
>>533445743
I think thats at least partially right. Although i would add that if there is a god, we could not hope to understand it.
Its more likely that all religions are incorrect, rather than any one being correct. I think people should follow what speaks to them while they seek the true nature of existence
>>
>>533445947
i currently believe in paganism honestly. but i think i deep down believe in the true god of existence. we are different in that regard. maybe im larping who knows. thanks for the convo.

Same to you
>may you be happy
>may you be healthy
>may you be safe
>may you be at ease

No, not religious but educated by Jesuits. Knew more about Augustinian ethics when I was 11 than JD Vance knows today. Get called Reddit etc by people who haven't the first understanding of the Bible never mind traditions of dogma and liturgy.
Overall I don't often find it worth discussing.

pagans believe that your ancestors matter. if your ancestors are christian youre done in paganism.

Yes. Catholic.
Religious discourse here sucks for the same reason it sucks everywhere on 4chan - 90% of the time it is off topic and devolved into shitflinging between larpers and fedoras. /his/ was entirely ruined by this.
We need a religion board just to contain those camps of retards, then other boards will be able to possibly have the occasional good religious discussion.
>>
>>533449678
The wills of the admin is to not make a religious board. Everything revolves around God Almighty in any case.

I've interacted with this being telepathically.

Never seen it though, not sure that it actually has a form.
