I was looking for a minimalist interior design book, and in looking at the reviews, I noticed that it was bought overwhelmingly by women as a decorative piece. Not to read but just to sit there.It seems that almost everything women naturally gravitate to comes down to aesthetics. Think of the "gamer girl", the "girlboss", the "manic pixie", etc. From my observations, men tend to create fields and actually develop the craft, and then when women join them, it isn't at all about the craft but rather the aesthetic of the craft and how they feel the aesthetic matches with what they want the world to view them as.Has anyone else thought or written about this?
