Can we talk about how much of a disaster South America is? They have had zero inventions in their entire history. Denmark, a country of 6 million people, invented Ozempic. Meanwhile, 600 million South Americans have zero inventions and zero notable achievements in the 21st century. It is impressive how irrelevant they are. I have some difficulty understanding their current malaise, considering they actually have tens of millions of ethnically Europeans. They are of the same genetic stock as their ancestors who bore forth the renaissance in Europe. A country like Argentina should be as wealthy as Spain or Italy. Actually, it should be even more wealthy considering their abundance of natural resources.
