So i got ack'd with he new glownigger cookie ban.it says it's a range ban but it's not. I can post from the same ip from a different device but cannot post from my desktop even with a totally new isp (friends hotspot).seems like those new glownigger cookies they added a few months ago are actually designed to create a hardware fingerprint to make bans stick to your hardware signature regardless of your ip.any suggestions on how to defeat it?

I have not looked into this in a long time though but websites are very very limited in being able to ban devices like that from my experience. try changing everything with an adon, change the resolution of your browser window, delete all browsing data compeltely, preferable use a different browser or browser profile (firefox has this) and change your timezone and anything else you can think of. I really don't think hardware bans are effective enough to overcome this but I have no direct experience with one, ip/cookies clearing has never not worked for me

Clean slate. That's how it's been for 20 years. You can write a script that does it for you. My personal record are 23 bans in 30 minutes. Good times.
