Will the blockade work?
>>533523316Depends on how much oil can be shipped from the northern ports to Russia. Or on that chinese rail.
Why wouldn't it work? Hard mode: no gay sex analogies.
>>533523417Define what working looks like.
>>533523462The meaning of the word "blockade" defines its own conditions anon.
>>533523316if by work you mean increase the vix then yesthey cant block the subs lol
>>533523529Complete stop of all material? Cutting off the oil from the Chinese? Cutting off weapons to Iran? This is a blockade on one of the busiest sea routes in the world. Blockade success have a wide range.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO MY OILRINOS THERES NO BABY OIL FOR MY DIDDY PARITES NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>>533523626Just stopping Iranian oil from leaving is all honey.
>>533523774Didn't Iran basically stop pumping during the Iran-Iraq war? This seems minor compared to the economic damage to the GCC, no?
>>533523774That might fail. Iran has ports that are not in that sea and are close to russia in the north. There is also the chinese belt and road rail. Im not sure how much oil they can move without that strait. They can definetly do it by rail but I dont think they can move the numbers anywhere close to what was going through the strait. It might come down to those northern ports. Are they set up to move that much oil? Can russia receive that much? And then can it be moved east over land?
>>533523316only under a ceasefire. the US Navy never approaches the coast of Iran, otherwise.
>>533523316will it disrupt the global economy? yes.will it actually militarily accomplish anything useful? no.
>>533523988No idea. But let's find out anyway yeah?>>533524051Okay so no biggie then and nothing for anyone to be worried about. Just keep the blockade up permanently and see how well the belt and road works fellow American poster.
>>533523316>that line>right to the iranian bordersnerk
Yes because all of Iran's military has been wiped out. They only have some drones left in underground storage.Oil price is going down today.
