in the meantime you still pay 30% federal tax (15% fed tax, 15% employement tax paid by the employer directly)

and not very far from the most taxed places like my country, which sits around 40%

because the democrat party cheated against bernie sanders in 2016 when he could have won.

if you look at the battleground states and take in to account that 5-10% of trump voters were former sanders voters, sanders takes Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and North Carolina and wins the general election

this, "just don't pay it" only works for penniless NEETs living at home or on the streets. Which admittedly is a large percentage of the user base here. In most states, they can win a judgement and snatch anything you have in the financial system, and in some states they can also get your house and/or garnish your wages. If you were to try non-payment, you need to make sure they don't know who you are.

All of those prices are fake. Hospitals should be required to post their chargemaster rates. On your bill is what the hospital tries to charge insurance before it gets bid down. There is an arms race between insurance and hospitals, so patients never actually see the true cost of healthcare. This sort of video is bait for idiots.

More people need to realize this.

Reminder that 45% of Americans are on Medicare, Medicaid, or VA benefits. America already has subsidized healthcare for poors, the liars, the lazy, scammers, the elderly, and veterans.

The rest of us with private insurance are footing the majority bill thanks to Obamacare.

That’s not how a nationalized healthcare system actually operates. Most countries with “free” healthcare also offer really affordable health insurance as well. American health care costs way more than it should, too many greedy hands in the pot grabbing their share and driving up costs.

The price I actually paid was $1800 for getting some kidney stones zapped. No one ever a actually goes broke from medical bills in America either because when you are poor enough Medicaid kicks in. Hospital bills in the US are fake. The consumer never sees the real cost of healthcare because Hospitals and insurance companies are constantly Jewing each other and the consumer. I am willing to be that my premiums are less than what you pay in taxes. Of course this is getting much worse because of all the old and illegals,.but you're country has that problem too.

Thirdies and boomers must be euthanized.

Obamacare really ruined healthcare for young people by getting rid of the market for catastrophic insurance. Now 1.5% of the US federal budget goes to keeping fatties alive on dialysis because no one is allowed to let these burdens with pre existing conditions die.

The US has public health care already in the form of the VA hospitals. Its not good. If a larger system was created it would likely have similar shortcomings.

>Insurance is a bet against a negative outcome
Insurance for the average person pre-Obamacare worked just like this. It was basically just to cover major incidents like births, accidents, and really bad illnesses like cancer and heart disease. It worked as intended. But then Obama said that chronically ill people could not be denied coverage, so a bunch of people who should have died suddenly got healthcare. What happened? The premiums shot up for the rest of us. Insurance companies are middle men, but their margins are still 1%-2% profit, they make money from volume of customers. What is driving up the cost of healthcare in the United States is a small group of people that would have already passed on are hogging all the resources. And the worst part? They get sent to the front of the line. The reason Luigi got denied back surgery is because some boomer is on his third heart transplant and 400 pound Shaniqua needs dialysis.

The fucked up thing about this entire dystopian jewish system is we are required to get insurance or suffer a tax penalty, and insurance rates have reached a point where they’re simply unaffordable. My last job was charging me 480 a month for insurance, single. The fact I have to give up a significant portion of my paycheck just to keep the IRS from raping me while the government funnels billions of dollars to Israel (a country that has free healthcare) is genuinely the most insane system ever.

Anyone who defends this bullshit is either a kike or mentally retarded.
>>
>>533539477
>private company = maximizing revenue
Hospital do Jew everyone. Their margins are higher than insurance companies but still not as bloated as everyone imagines.

Healthcare is expensive in the US because:
1) it's illegal to deny care to anyone, including people on death's door and illegals
2) people are fat
3) people are old

The problems are systemic. The reason healthcare costs a lot because Americans consume healthcare like we consume Big Macs and there is very little rationing. The "rationing" is done by insurance companies, and their profits aren't really that big. Insurance companies are required by law to prioritize the chronically ill and dying. It doesn't help that people treat ERs here like they are free clinics, and for a lot of people (illegals and poors), the ER is basically free. In Europe, 90 year olds with 4 preexisting conditions don't get premium healthcare. It's accepted that these people should die. In America, an infinite amount of money is spent on the sick and dying while a 20 year old with chronic back pain is told to go to back of the line. Niggers, illegals, and boomers like like KANGZ in the US while, otherwise healthy people are told to suck it up. I'm not simping for insurance companies, this is just reality. Out problems are POLITICAL.
>>
>>533533359
The problem in your country is the oligopoly in health insurance. If the market were more open, there would be more options available

>>533540866

>>
>>533541510
No, it's because most people are too low IQ to manage their own health until it's too late. Also Americans hate being told to stop wolfing down sugary soda and salty/fatty pizza. My brother in law is a GP and is constantly complaining about this. Dumb people are awful at connecting their poor health outcomes to their poor choices. "I have chronic headaches", "My knees hurt", "Why do I have heartburn all the time". All diet related problems that people are unwilling to fix with changes in lifestyle. You cannot fix stupid.
>>
>>533540774
>Europe, 90 year olds with 4 preexisting conditions don't get premium healthcare. It's accepted that these people should die.
my granpa was sent from belgium to germoney in an ambulance driving 180 km/h because they had a cancer turbo specialist down there

theres no excuse for prices as high as you have em, outside of greed
especially considering you pay european levels of taxes- ~30%
yes, you privately pay 15, but your employer pays another 15 directly from your pay
so its actually 27.775%.

but then you also pay state tax.
minnesota is 9%
oregon- 9.9
cali is 13
ny/nj is 10
vermont/massachusets is 9
so for these states you pay around 34% of taxes
everywhere else is around 5 so lets say you pay 30%

only florida, texas, and a couple flyover states dont tax revenue (based)

yeah, in belgioom its 45% but also you get retirement for that, welfare if something goes wrong, free education, and even subsistence revenue if all else fails. all that for a country of 11M without much in the way of industry, so other sources of revenue

stop defending your corpos, anon

You're probably better off going to an urgent care clinic because if you're a young person with a boo boo you'll be waiting forever in an ER because triage makes it so all the fatties and half dead boomers get seen first.

I really cannot reiterate this enough. If you are an otherwise healthy young man, you are basically dirt to the medical system. Pick yourself up the bootstraps, son, because 400 pound Shaniqua and 90 year old Carl are more critical.
>>
>>533541813
Americans are extremely uneducated, especially poor ones. Most of them can't even locate a given US state on a map, but you expect them to understand the consequences of consuming endless goyslop.
>>533541871
In civilized countries, those people go to the regular doctor instead of the ER, because they don't have to pay for it. And they are more likely to seek medical treatment before their condition progresses, meaning better outcomes for them and less expensive treatments for the hospital.
>>
>>533535106
Doesn’t affect your credit. Pay it with a credit card then declare bankruptcy.
>>
>>533542144
>In civilized countries, those people go to the regular doctor instead of the ER
Yes, civilized White countries. The problem is that America is a third world country with the pretentions of a rich country. Scandinavian style healthcare is never going to work here because the average person(s) is a short, retarded third world monkey or a dying boomer.

Also you have no fucking clue what you're talking about. Every single insurance plan covers at least one PCP appointment per year. Literally everyone is covered either through private insurance or Medicaid.
>>
>>533538929
It’s free now after he got killed? Insurance companies are the problem? Why not the fucking hospitals? Oh, I know, it is because of the hospital workers union — good Democrat voters. Both hospitals and insurance companies are Jewing each other. Think about it, every other industry in the US is required to tell consumers how much their service cost.

You wouldn't walk into a mechanics shop and ask to get your car fixed without getting a quote first. You don't walk into a grocery store and only see how much your food costs at the register.

But hospitals are allowed to keep their prices a secret from consumers.

It's going to keep terminally ill people alive for another few months. It's also spent on long term care for the chronically ill retards that should have never been born. We know where the money is going.

Boomers wouldn't be boomers if they didn't squander every last shred of their inheritance right before they died. Good thing the US healthcare corporations found just the way to accommodate them.

NICU is the worst thing that ever happened to healthcare. 10% of people born since 2000 should have been stillbirths. When I walk around a shopping area ~1 in 1 kids I see are disabled in some way. We are fucking with nature too much. Not every life is sacred.

It's not muh corporations, but they aren't blameless. Boomers voted to expand health public insurance to basically everyone who needs it. The real winner is the Democrats who have a permanent base of voters and a powerless class of tax cattle that doesn't have the demographic pull to fight it. Did you know that 45% of Americans are on some sort of subsidized healthcare? America is in the looting stage of Democracy.

The only people getting screwed by insurance companies are young men. Young men are low priority BY LAW. People with pre existing conditions and critical cases come first. Old people and poors don't get denied coverage. If you are a young employed man, your premiums just go to keeping boomers, poors, and fatties alive.

>Why can't we have free healthcare?!?!

"free" healthcare is currently 25% of the budget and we have $39 TRILLION in debt. How much more do you want to spend on "free" healthcare? 30% of the budget? Maybe 50%?

The medical and pharmaceutical industry lobbies rule the country. As we speak the Democrat who want more "free" healthcare are attacking RFK Jr. on behalf of big pharma for questioning if children really need to be forced to take hundreds of vaccines.

TLDR: Why can't we have free healthcare? Because we're broke and our rulers work for the medical industry.

Dumb Americans think Canada is like Europe. Last time I went to the GP for an annoying rash on my neck that wasn't going away with moisturizer. I signed into the med app with my digID, and saw an opening for the same day. 3 hours later I showed up to my appointment, and got a prescription for a cream that I picked up the next day. A few years before that I required a small surgery to remove what turned out to just be a harmless busted lymph node. But it was right under my armpit, quite a concerning place. Took a week to get to the initial GP appointment, he looked at it, palpated a lil' and went uhuh yeah goncerning. Referred me to the hospital for an appointment with the knife man. That was like another 2 weeks after that, got sliced and stitched in about an hour. They sent what they cut out for analysis, got that back when I went to get the stitches taken out. All of this cost me exactly 0 euro, as I already paid my yearly deductible of 300ish euro. Monthly premiums went up slightly by like, 5 bucks a month from that event. From about 150 to 162 including the regular yearly increase. I get about 120-130 of that subsidized from the state so I really only pay 20-30 bucks a month out of pocket.
